We’re three days in at the Ebor Festival. The TikTok from Tuesday went viral and plenty of new followers have joined us this week — welcome if you’re new, this is exactly what we do. Let’s have a big day.
1:50 Zennor Storm (7/2) — 1pt win
Haggas yard, Marquand in the saddle. Finished second of 19 at Goodwood last month at 18-1, beaten a length. That run is massively undervalued. Ready to win. 1pt win.
2:25 Caballo De Mar (2/1) — 2pts win
Nine career wins, Group 1 Gold Cup run last time, dropping back in class today with Oisin Murphy. Horses of this quality find things much easier after a test like that. 2pts win.
3:00 Arapaho Gold (11/4) — 1.5pts win
Unbeaten in three this season. OR 104 at two years old. Won at Newbury last month. Hard to oppose. 1.5pts win.
3:35 Nunthorpe Stakes — Bacio (3/1) 1.5pts win + Aint Nobody (40/1) 1pt each way (4 places)
Bacio won at Ascot by four lengths last time. Four. He’s the one. Aint Nobody at 40/1 each way is the big price shot — four places in the Nunthorpe gives him every chance to sneak into the frame.
4:10 Zanndabad (11/1) — 1pt each way (5 places)
AJ Martin’s veteran, five places at 11/1. Each way value play to round off the card.
Good luck. Results as they come in right here.

Day one at the Ebor Festival delivered a winner and a place, and after yesterday’s TikTok took off, welcome to everyone finding Twister Tipster for the first time. The momentum is building — and Day 2 looks even more interesting. Here are four selections.
1:50 — Star of State (2pts win) 5/2
JP O’Brien’s two-year-old filly arrives at York with just two runs behind her, but the quality she’s shown is striking. Her last run at Leopardstown last month was outstanding — a nine-length victory as 1-3 favourite over 6f on good ground. That kind of margin at that level, from one of the most powerful yards in Europe, demands respect. She steps up in class today but O’Brien’s fillies frequently thrive when asked that question. Dylan Browne McMonagle, arguably Europe’s most in-form jockey right now, takes the ride. At 5/2, this is fair market pricing for a horse who hasn’t come close to her ceiling yet. 2pts win.
2:20 — Thebesthasyetocome (1 pt each way, 4 places) 11/1
This is the one. As recently as last night one bookmaker had this two-year-old at 66/1. This morning he’s 11/1. That overnight collapse doesn’t happen without a reason. A Keatley’s colt won well at Ayr last time, taking a 6f contest on soft ground by three and a half lengths as favourite, and while an official rating of 83 looks modest for this level, the money tells a different story entirely. When confidence pours in at this speed and on this scale, it pays to be on the right side of it. 1 pt each way, 4 places.
3:00 — Centigrade (2pts win) 2/1
Ralph Beckett’s four-year-old has a consistent profile at this level — two wins over 1m, comfortable on varying ground, and a last run at Southwell where he beat Star Of The Desert by nearly three lengths at 6-4 favourite. Rossa Ryan rides and the market has him at the head of the pack at 2/1. Solid each-way profile but we’re going for the win here. 2pts win.
3:35 — Minnie Hauk (1 pt each way) 9/2
Ryan Moore. Aidan O’Brien. Course and distance winner. Official rating of 121. Those four things alone make this impossible to leave out. Minnie Hauk was last seen finishing in the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot — no disgrace whatsoever at that level. She’s been brilliantly versatile throughout her career, winning six times from 1m to 1m4f across all ground types. Today represents a step down in class and a return to a track she’s already won at. At 9/2 each way this is excellent value. 1 pt each way.

Good morning – we have new selections including for the York Ebor meeting today. Let’s try to get some winners!
Horse Racing Selections – August 19
York
1.50 Stratusnine 9/1 1pt each way (6 places)
3.35 Ombudsman 5/4 2pts win
4.10 Small Fry 11/4 1.5pts win
5.20 Crystal Queen 16/1 1pt each way (5 places) – price going quickly
That’s it! Good luck!

Nothing today – back for York later in the week.

We had a poor day yesterday and our selections have fared badly since relaunching with the new AI system.
It’s still early days and think we have been unlucky with some of the performances so willing to give it a bit of time.
Racing today is generally poor so nothing to select – big meeting at York later in the week for us to chew into though…

Good morning – we are back with some weekend selections as promised. Have fun – this is horse racing after all!
Horse Racing Selections – August 15
Newbury
1.25 Gamrai 6/1 1pt each way
3.10 Extremely Zain 9/2 1pt each way
Ripon
3.25 Fortification 17/2 1pt each way

Back tomorrow with weekend selections…

Nothing today – will return with picks for the big racing at the weekend…

Good afternoon – our sole selection yesterday was a poor one and we have had a disappointing start to the relaunch.
Plenty of time though to surge forward.
There’s nothing much on today so let’s not force it – next main picks likely to be at the weekend…

Just one selection for today…
Horse Racing Selection – August 11
Hamilton
7.00 Galyx 13/2 1pt each way (4 places)
18+, be responsible

Good morning – racing is still meh today so let’s not force it.
Back tomorrow…

We had a nice relaunch yesterday but we went with Shergar Cup day and got stung. Some dodgy rides for a team event – lesson learnt!
Nothing major today so nothing today – back tomorrow though…

Date Posted: Saturday August 8, 2026
Welcome to the new Twister Tipster. Horse racing only, AI-powered, and starting from zero today. The full relaunch post explains the thinking — this one is about the racing.
It is a big day to start. Ascot is hosting the Shergar Cup, the team jockey competition where riders from GB & Ireland, Europe, Hong Kong and the Rest of the World go head-to-head across six races. Alongside that, Billy Loughnane — leading the flat jockeys championship with 93 winners and 11 clear of champion Oisin Murphy — is riding at Newmarket. Jockey storylines add an extra dimension to today’s card and they feed directly into our selections.
Graceful Song — Newmarket 1:55, 6/4, 2 pt win
A two-year-old filly trained by Charlie Appleby, unbeaten in one start and a course-and-distance winner last month when beating Somers Isles by two and a quarter lengths at 10-11 favourite on good to firm. The form franked, the clock was good, and she returns to identical conditions. The key angle: Billy Loughnane is in the saddle. He is 11 wins clear at the top of the flat jockeys championship and riding with the confidence of a man who knows what it takes to win a title race. Every winner counts in August.
Hoseki — Ascot 3:55, 15/8, 2 pt win
Trained by William Haggas and ridden by Saffie Osborne — who is carrying double motivation today, fighting for points in both the flat jockeys championship and the Shergar Cup for GB & Ireland. Hoseki has won three times this season and on her latest start beat Nochebuena by a short head over this course and distance on good to firm. She has won three times from 1m 2f to 1m 4f on good and good to firm ground and steps back onto her ideal surface. A horse in form, with a jockey who has every reason to be at her absolute best.
Level Look — Ascot 3:55, 11/1, 1 pt each way (3 places, 1/5 odds)
The each-way interest in the same race. Trained by Andrew Balding and ridden by Frida Valle Skar of the Europe Shergar Cup team, Level Look was second of seven at Chester last time, beaten one and a half lengths when sent off the 7-4 favourite. He has a win on the all-weather at this trip and the drop in market confidence looks overdone at 11/1 after a solid placed run. The Shergar Cup creates a genuine motivation for every jockey on the card today and Valle Skar will want to get Europe off to a strong start.
Ozat — Ascot 4:30, 7/2, 1 pt win
Ryan Moore takes the ride for Ian Williams. Moore is captaining GB & Ireland in the Shergar Cup and will not want to be on the wrong end of a result in a race his team needs to win. Ozat is rated 97 and has won four times from a mile to a mile and a furlong on varied ground. The Goodwood run last month was well below his best — beaten nine lengths at 18-1 — but that form was an outlier against a horse who had been much more competitive on similar marks. Moore at a major meeting with team pride on the line on a well-handicapped horse is a combination the analysis rates highly.

As said yesterday, no picks until Saturday when the new service begins with a sole focus on horse racing…

Something a little different from us today. Twister Tipster is relaunching this Saturday with a sharper, cleaner focus — and we wanted to be upfront about what that looks like going forward.
From Saturday, the service is horse racing only. The AI model has consistently been at its strongest on the flat and over jumps, and concentrating everything on racing gives us the best chance of doing this properly. That is the focus from here.
A few things that will be different about how we operate:
We will not be posting selections every day. This is a deliberate choice. The easiest thing in the world is to find something to fill a slot — the hardest is to only post a selection when something genuinely stands out. On days when the card does not throw up the right opportunity, we will post updates, general views on the racing, or nothing at all. Quality over volume, every time.
The goal is long-term profit. Not a winner a day, not a headline price — sustained, documented profit over a meaningful sample. That takes patience, discipline and a willingness to sit on hands when the right opportunity is not there. That is the approach from Saturday.
We are also expanding the scope beyond UK and Irish racing. The AI model will be looking at major meetings in the United States, France, Dubai, Australia and beyond when the opportunity is right. Big international racing often throws up the most interesting value, and we will be there when it does.
First selections drop Saturday. Subscribe and follow at http://twistertipster.substack.com so you do not miss them.

An update!
Twister Tipster is taking a break for a few weeks – not least, due to going away with the family and having a good rest: I also want to get back to studying and ensuring selections are solid heading into the latter half of the year.
While the horse racing has been in a small profit in recent months, we can do much better. The golf, though, has been extremely disappointing though with some odd performances.
I am going to take time away for a few weeks and return in August.
I may update though with one-off plays and thoughts in the meantime should anything stand out.
Catch you soon!

Ryan Fox has won the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, and it was a tough week for the selections overall. An honest account of how things went.
Tommy Fleetwood was the one bright spot, earning a place return at 16/1 as the local lad delivered in front of his home crowd. The logic was sound and the result reflected that, even if the outright win we were looking for didn’t materialise.
Robert MacIntyre started the tournament brilliantly at -3 after round one — exactly the tee time and course-fit logic we had outlined before a ball was struck — but faded over the weekend as he has done before at this level. Jon Rahm and Ludvig Aberg both made the right kind of start without finding the sustained form needed to challenge at the top. Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose, both additional selections, also failed to fire.
Fox’s win was one that very few had projected and the market hadn’t priced. That happens at The Open more than almost any other major — links golf has a way of rewarding players who find form on the week regardless of what the numbers say going in.
Horse racing continues next week. Full P&L always live at twistertipster.com.

Here is an update on how our golf selections are doing for the Open this weekend ahead of tomorrow’s final round.
Outrights
Tommy Fleetwood – the home favourite is looking good and is on -5
Ludvig Aberg – our Swedish pick is in the hunt on -6 and could win it with a surge tomorrow
Robert MacIntyre – Bobby still has a chance with each way interest heading into Sunday on -3
Jon Rahm – Rahmbo had a mixed Saturday but remains in touching distance on -4
Rory McIlroy is on -2, probably too much to do to feature this time…
Justin Rose was cut, sadly so -2 units for him
The two first round leader selections lost though so we are 4.5 units down from Thursday.
Let’s look forward to an exciting Sunday!

No selections again today – still monitoring the golf. Back tomorrow…

No selections today – we will continue to monitor the golf at Royal Birkdale… back soon!

We are adding two extra selections for The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
This is not about adding names for the sake of it. Both players have specific reasons to be on the card: course history, current form, conditions and price.
Stake: 1pt each-way
Each-way terms: 8 places
Justin Rose is the first added selection, and there is a very clear Royal Birkdale angle here.
This is the course where Rose announced himself to the golfing world as a 17-year-old amateur in 1998, finishing tied fourth after that famous chip-in on the 18th. That was not just a romantic moment; it remains one of the great amateur performances in Open history, and it gives him a genuine connection with this venue.
The case is not only nostalgic, though. Rose was runner-up at The Open two years ago at Royal Troon and still looks very capable of contending in this type of test. Royal Birkdale should reward controlled tee-to-green golf, fairways found, patience and a sharp short game. Those are areas where Rose can still compete strongly when he is on.
The 30/1 price is also important. With eight places available, he does not need to win for the selection to make sense. He simply needs to do what he has done many times in major championships: stay patient, avoid big mistakes, and work his way into the week.
At this stage of his career, Rose winning The Open at Royal Birkdale would be a huge story. But at 30/1 with eight places, we do not need to rely only on the fairytale. The place terms make him a sensible each-way addition.
Selection: Justin Rose — 1pt each-way at 30/1, 8 places
Stake: 2pts win**
Rory McIlroy is the second added selection, and he is a win-only play.
At 10/1, this is not an each-way price for our purposes. The reason to be with Rory is simple: if he plays his best golf, he can win this.
He has strong Open Championship credentials, including a tied-fourth finish at Royal Birkdale in 2017 and three top-seven finishes in his last four Open starts. He also arrives as the defending Masters champion, having successfully defended at Augusta earlier this year, so there is no question about whether he can still close out the very biggest events.
The course should also suit him better than some might think. Royal Birkdale is firm, fast and exposed, but it is also regarded as one of the fairer links courses. Rory has spoken positively about the venue, particularly the way good shots on the fairways tend to be rewarded rather than kicked into random trouble. That matters because his driving remains one of the biggest weapons in golf.
The concern is the price. At 10/1, we need him to win, and there is not much margin for error. But this is the one short-priced player we are willing to add because the course record, major form and current level all line up.
This is a stronger-staked play than Rose, but still controlled.
Selection: Rory McIlroy — 2pts win at 10/1 (9/1 fine too)
Justin Rose — 1pt each-way at 30/1, 8 places
Rory McIlroy — 2pts win at 10/1
Rose gives us the each-way value and course-history angle. Rory gives us the strongest win-only play.

The 154th Open Championship begins at Royal Birkdale on Thursday, and it sets up as one of the most intriguing major tests in years. The course is firm and fast, and the forecast is benign by links standards — very low wind for the opening two rounds, which shifts the premium firmly onto iron precision and course management over wind-reading and damage limitation.
The AI model has run a full analysis of the 156-player field. Four each-way outrights and two first round leader plays. Here is the full slate.
OUTRIGHTS
Jon Rahm — 25/1, 1 pt each way, 7 places, 1/5 odds
Rahm sits inside the top five in the field by model win probability, and crucially the analysis finds genuine value at 25/1 — the model prices him longer than the sharpest markets, meaning the price is right before a ball is struck. His strokes gained profile is elite across the board: outstanding off the tee, excellent approach play, and the controlled ball flight that Royal Birkdale consistently rewards. He goes out early Thursday morning at 10:09 in the calmest conditions of the day. The one honest note of caution is his putting on links greens, which is the relative soft spot in an otherwise world-class profile. At 25/1 with seven places, the model says take it.
Ludvig Aberg — 30/1, 1 pt each way, 8 places, 1/5 odds
Of all the players showing model value, Aberg carries the most outstanding approach play numbers — and approach play is the single most predictive skill at Royal Birkdale. The model shows a clear edge at 30/1, and his profile fits this course precisely: long enough to get in close on a firm, fast surface, precise enough with his irons to hold the scores together when Birkdale turns demanding. Eight places at 30/1 is serious each-way territory for a player ranked inside the top ten in the field by the analysis.
Tommy Fleetwood — 16/1, 1 pt each way, 8 places, 1/5 odds
Fleetwood is from Southport. He grew up minutes from Royal Birkdale, played this course across his entire junior and early professional career, and understands its rhythms and its punishments better than almost anyone else in a 156-player field. The model rates him third in the field by win probability, and the home-course knowledge at a links major is something no strokes gained number fully captures. Eight places at 16/1 is a substantial each-way opportunity with one of the best players in the world on his home ground. He tees off Thursday at 10:09 alongside Rahm, giving him the best of the morning conditions, with a crowd that will be extraordinary behind him from the first tee.
Robert MacIntyre — 28/1, 1 pt each way, 8 places, 1/5 odds
MacIntyre is Scottish, a natural links golfer, and was our selection last week at the Scottish Open where he finished tied third at 33/1. He carries that form and momentum directly into a course that suits every element of his game. His putting numbers rank among the very best in the field — on links greens, where the ball runs true and the margins are fine, that matters enormously. He tees off at 07:19 Thursday morning, the very first wave out in the calmest conditions of the entire day. Form, course fit, tee time and home-ground confidence all pointing the same direction.
FIRST ROUND LEADER
Min Woo Lee — 60/1, 1 pt each way, 7 places, 1/5 odds
The strongest first round leader value in the model across the entire field. Lee tees off at 09:25 Thursday morning, one of the earliest slots in the draw, on a firm fast course with barely any wind forecast. He is a long, attacking player who likes to go low, and the opening round of an Open Championship in benign conditions on a receptive Birkdale is exactly the scenario his game is built for. 60/1 with seven places is outstanding value.
Justin Thomas — 66/1, 1 pt each way, 7 places, 1/5 odds
The second best first round leader value on the model, also going out in the early morning wave at 09:47. Thomas carries the best short game and putting numbers of all the early-wave starters — and in an 18-hole first round leader market, it is the short game that converts solid ball-striking into low scores and top-of-the-leaderboard positions. 66/1 with a seven-place safety net is significant value.
GLORY DOUBLE
Rahm to win + Min Woo Lee FRL accumulator — 0.25 pt each way
The two model standouts combined into a double. A small each-way stake that returns in the region of 900x if both land. The model’s two sharpest value picks in one play.

Nothing today – back tomorrow

A good weekend across both racing and golf, and heading into one of the biggest weeks of the sporting calendar with plenty to look forward to.
Horse Racing — Saturday
Three selections on the card at Newmarket and Ascot. Galilean Quality delivered the standout result, winning at 6/4 at Ascot as the model’s most confident call of the day — a horse with a proven record at the trip who the data rated well clear of a small field, and he justified that rating. Wechaad ran into a place at Newmarket at 5/1 which covered the each-way stake. Satono Reve, the headline pick, ran into a place at 5/2 but was a win-only selection so nothing returned there — frustrating, but that’s the nature of playing the win market at short prices. Net on the day: positive.
Horse racing now stands at +4.04pts from 40 settled selections, ROI +5.5%.
Golf — Genesis Scottish Open
Golf returned this week and the AI model gave us something to shout about. Robert MacIntyre, our 33/1 each-way selection, finished tied third at -13 — playing on home soil in Scotland in front of his home crowd, exactly the scenario the model identified as the compelling angle at the price. A full place return at 33/1 each-way is a significant result.
Rory McIlroy was in contention early but dropped away over the final two rounds to finish tied seventh — the win case was there, it just didn’t come off. Tyrrell Hatton finished outside the places. Tom Kim won the event.
Net on golf for the week: +1.60pts.
This Week — The Open Championship
The biggest week in golf is here. The Open Championship is the one we’ve been building towards and the AI model will be running a full analysis of the field this week. Selections will be posted ahead of the first round — follow the site and Substack to make sure you don’t miss them.
Horse racing selections continue as normal alongside The Open throughout the week.

Three races across Newmarket and Ascot today, three horses the AI model rates highly. Total outlay 5pts across the card.
2.52 Newmarket — Wechaad — 5/1 — 1 pt each way (1/5 odds)
Richard Varian and Ryan Moore is a powerful combination to have on your side and the model rates Wechaad well for this contest. He won at 7f on good to soft earlier in the season and his run at Royal Ascot last month — seventh of thirty in a competitive handicap — represents solid form at a higher level. Dropping into a more manageable contest today, the model sees him as a strong each-way proposition at 5/1.
Stake: 1 pt each way
3.34 Ascot — Galilean Quality — 6/4 — 1.5 pts to finish first
Three wins from 1m 2f to 1m 4f on soft and all-weather — Galilean Quality is clearly a horse who knows how to win and he’s done it at today’s trip before. His last run at this very track saw him finish sixth at a huge price in a much stronger contest. The model reads that run as highly encouraging rather than discouraging — he was a massive outsider that day and he’s significantly shorter today with good reason. Small field, proven trip, course form. The win case is compelling.
Stake: 1.5 pts to finish first
4.35 Newmarket — Satono Reve — 5/2 — 1.5 pts to finish first
The headline pick of the day. Satono Reve was beaten by a nose in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Ascot last month — one of the most prestigious sprint races of the season — with C P Lemaire in the saddle. Nine career wins across varying ground and distances tells you everything about his consistency and versatility. Dropping below Group 1 level today, the model rates him as the standout selection on the card and 5/2 represents fair value for a horse of this calibre. The stake reflects the conviction.
Stake: 1.5 pts to finish first
Total outlay today: 5 pts

Apologies, late and busy again today so not going to rush out horses for twilight races.
Our golf selections still in great shape – McIlroy leading and MacIntyre just two shots back, as I write, with Hatton about to avoid the cut.
I will – I promise – be back tomorrow with proper horse racing picks!
See you then!

No horse racing selections today – it’s a hot day which may lead to peculiar results and we will keep our powder dry ahead of a busy weekend when we can get more involved.
We can check in on our golf picks though for now. After one round, our selections are currently (as we write) tied 1st (Rory McIlroy), 11th (Robert McIntyre) and 64th (Tyrrell). We are in decent shape then – though Hatton has plenty of work to do to get among the action.
That’s it for now, back tomorrow…

Rory McIlroy
Date Posted: 8 July 2026
The Genesis Scottish Open gets underway tomorrow and the AI model has identified three players it rates highly for the conditions. Links golf in Scotland rewards ball-strikers who can manage wind, keep the ball in play off the tee, and convert when the course opens up. All three of this week’s selections fit that profile.
Rory McIlroy — 10/1 — 2 pts to finish first
The case for McIlroy at a links event almost writes itself, but the model backs it up with the numbers. He is one of the most complete ball-strikers in the world game, he has a proven record on links layouts, and Scottish coastal conditions are conditions he has thrived in throughout his career. At 10/1, the win case is the only one worth playing — the model rates him as the standout selection this week and the stake reflects that conviction.
Tyrrell Hatton — 33/1 — 1 pt each way (6 places)
Hatton is a player who tends to raise his game when the wind is up and the conditions get difficult. His links record is strong, he attacks the course with a directness that suits target-based links play, and he has shown repeatedly that he performs well on this side of the world. At 33/1 with six places on offer, the each-way value is clear and the model has him well placed in its ratings for this field.
Stake: 1 pt each way (6 places)
Robert McIntyre — 33/1 — 1 pt each way (6 places)
The home factor is real with McIntyre but it is his game rather than the crowd that makes him interesting here. He is a natural links player, comfortable in the wind, and has developed into one of the most consistent performers in European golf over the past two seasons. Playing in front of a home Scottish crowd at a course that suits his eye, the model rates him as excellent each-way value at this price.
Stake: 1 pt each way (6 places)
Total outlay: 6 pts

Tyrrell Hatton
Been too busy today so no selections after a nice run from Victory Gold yesterday.
Back tomorrow…

Good morning – I hope too many of you are not bleary eyed after staying up to watch England’s big win in the football last night…
Just one for today…
Horse Racing Selection – July 6
3.15 Lingfield Victory Gold 2pts Evens
That’s all – good luck!

One win selection on the card yesterday and it delivered.
Rumstar, 1.50 Sandown, came home a winner at our quoted price of 11/4 — and those who took the starting price did even better, with the horse returning 10/3 on the day. A clean 1 pt win, job done.
Plage De Havre at Newmarket was the other runner from the weekend and that one did not find enough, finishing out of the places. The win on Rumstar more than covered it across the two.
Nothing from the AI model for today — the data is not throwing up anything that meets the bar and we will not post for the sake of posting. Back tomorrow with whatever the model finds worth backing.

We are keeping things simple today with two selections only.
The first comes in the 1:50 at Sandown, where Rumstar is the win selection.
Stake: 1pt win
Advised price: 11/4
Rumstar looks the main win play on today’s card.
He is a six-time winner over sprint trips and has plenty of back-class for this sort of race. His latest run came in the Group 1 King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot, where he was beaten nine lengths behind Mission Central. That form line is much stronger than he faces here, and this represents a more realistic assignment.
The price is short enough that we are not interested in each-way terms. At around 11/4, this is a straightforward win bet.
Selection: Rumstar — 1pt win
Stake: 1pt each-way
Advised price: 17/2
Terms: 4 places
The second selection is Plage De Havre in the 3:15 at Newmarket.
He has already shown winning form over 1m4f and arrives here after a solid third at York, where he was beaten five lengths behind Klassleader. That was a respectable effort, and the return to this sort of trip looks suitable.
At 17/2, with four places available, he fits the each-way profile better than a short win-only play. The Andrew Balding yard is a positive, and Callum Hutchinson’s claim also helps from a handicapping perspective.
This is not a maximum-confidence bet, but the price and place terms make him a fair each-way selection.
Selection: Plage De Havre — 1pt each-way
Rumstar — 1pt win
Plage De Havre — 1pt each-way
Two selections only today. Rumstar is the stronger win angle, while Plage De Havre is the each-way value play at the bigger price.

Nothing today – back tomorrow…

Two selections from the AI model today, both win-only, both at near-evens prices where the data says the market has it right — and we’re backing our conviction accordingly.
4.05 Nottingham — Empirical — 11/10 — 2 pts to win
Trainer Ed Walker and jockey Cieren Fallon team up with this 3-year-old grey who ran a highly encouraging race at this course and distance last time out in May. Third of seven behind Valkyrie Storm, beaten only 1½ lengths at 9-2, he shaped like a horse who needed that run and was doing his best work late. Same track, same trip, stronger pace forecast today — the model has him right at the top of the ratings for this contest and 11/10 looks workable for a horse who should strip fitter and improve for the return.
Stake: 2 pts to finish first
5.20 Limerick — Daddy Long Legs — 10/11 — 3 pts to win
Willie Mullins. Paul Townend. A horse who has won five of his hurdle starts across varying ground from 2m to 2m 2f. His latest start at Ballinrobe in May was a straightforward success — 8-11 favourite, 4-length win over 2m 2f on good ground. The model rates him well clear of this field and there is no reason to look for each-way cover when the win case is this strong. Three points reflects the confidence level.
Stake: 3 pts to finish first
The Double Play — Empirical + Daddy Long Legs — 1 pt
Both selections landing at near-evens prices means a double pays out at roughly 3/1. One point on the double gives us an additional angle on both winning without significantly increasing overall outlay.
Stake: 1 pt double
Total outlay today: 6 pts

We’re keeping things focused today with two selections from Thirsk, both with solid each-way shape and both appealing at the prices available at the time of posting.
As always, the aim with Twister Tipster is not to throw darts at the biggest prices on the board. We’re looking for runners who have enough in their profile to justify support, while also giving ourselves a sensible place angle where the terms allow.
Before we get into today’s two, a quick reminder: you can get regular free racing selections straight to your inbox by signing up at twistertipster.substack.com.
3.10 Thirsk — King’s Road Dandy — 11/1 each-way, 4 places
4.40 Thirsk — Tattie Bogle — 6/1 each-way, 4 places
Odds and place terms correct at time of posting. Please check before placing any bets, especially if there are non-runners.
King’s Road Dandy is the bigger-priced play of the two and looks worth siding with each-way at 11/1, particularly with four places available.
This does not look like a race where we need to be overly aggressive, but King’s Road Dandy has enough going for him to make the price look interesting. He is still relatively lightly raced, so there is scope for improvement, and at double-figure odds we are not asking him to be a certainty — we are asking him to outrun his price and get seriously involved.
In a competitive handicap, the extra place angle matters. At 11/1, four places gives us the kind of shape we like: enough upside if he wins, but still a sensible return route if he runs well without quite landing the race.
For more regular free selections like this, sign up at twistertipster.substack.com and get the picks delivered directly.
Tattie Bogle is the stronger win contender of the two, and at 6/1 with four places available, he still makes plenty of each-way appeal.
He comes into this with a more obvious profile and looks like one who should give us a proper run for our money. The price is shorter than King’s Road Dandy, but not too short for an each-way play given the available terms. This is exactly the kind of bet we like when the market still leaves enough room for value.
The key here is balance. Tattie Bogle does not need to be a spectacular price to be a good bet. At 6/1, with the extra places, he sits in that attractive zone where he has a credible chance of winning but still offers place protection if he runs well.
Two selections, both at Thirsk, both each-way with four places available:
3.10 Thirsk — King’s Road Dandy — 11/1 each-way, 4 places
4.40 Thirsk — Tattie Bogle — 6/1 each-way, 4 places
As ever, keep stakes sensible and only bet what you can afford to lose.

Off the back of a nice winner with Summer Island at the Curragh yesterday, we’re keeping today’s card tight — just two advised selections. No extras, no speculative third pick, no forcing a bet for the sake of it.
Diligent Harry — 2:10 Newcastle, 11/4, 1 pt win. This is the strongest selection on the card from our side. Diligent Harry comes out well on the model, has strong course-and-distance credentials, won this race last year, and arrives here off a solid Group 2 effort. Newcastle’s all-weather surface is also a plus given the wider heat and ground concerns affecting turf racing elsewhere this week. At this price the each-way return doesn’t add much, so we’re backing him to finish first only.
Winged One — 4:45 Chester, 10/1, 1 pt each way (3 places). The value play of the day. She ran well at Chester last time out, has a helpful low draw, gets first-time cheekpieces, and is rated strongly by the model in this race. One thing worth flagging: the each-way case depends on the field holding at eight or more runners so three places stay on offer — if a late withdrawal shrinks the field, the appeal of the bet changes with it.
Summary: Two plays today, Diligent Harry to win at Newcastle and Winged One each way at Chester. Tight by design. Subscribe via the Substack to get daily selections at good prices.

Two selections for this evening’s card at the Curragh, both each-way in big-field handicaps.
Therewillbeglory — 5:35 Curragh, 17/2 each way (6 places), 1 pt each way
Top of our analysis in a 22-runner handicap. She gets a workable opening mark, has been consistent without quite getting her head in front, and the first-time visor could be the bit that sharpens her up. The each-way shape here is the real appeal, six places on offer in a race this size gives plenty of room for the analysis to be right without needing the winner.
Summer Island — 6:10 Curragh, 7/2 each way (5 places), 1 pt each way
The more reliable profile of the two. Progressive form with two wins and a second from his last five starts, course-and-distance form already on the card, and he handles good ground well. Oisin Murphy takes the ride, which we like. The price is tighter than we’d normally go each-way on, but we’re backing it on the expectation it could drift out to a fuller each-way price by post time, so ensure you get best odds guaranteed.
SUMMARY
Two each-way selections at the Curragh this evening. Remember to subscribe to the Substack to get daily selections to your inbox first at the prices quoted.

No selections today while conditions remain ridiculously hot – not worth the risk.

It’s a packed week for the model, with selections running across both the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour. Seven plays in total — six at the Travelers Championship and one in Italy — so here’s the full squad and the thinking behind each one.
TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP — TPC RIVER HIGHLANDS
Ludvig Åberg — 16/1 each way (8 places) 1pt each way
TPC River Highlands is a short, tight par-70 that rewards precise ball-striking and scoring ability over raw power, and that plays straight to Åberg’s strengths. Our analysis has him rated shorter than his current market price, and his draw across the first two days looks favourable.
Min Woo Lee — 45/1 each way (8 places) 1pt each way
The value play of the week. The model rates him notably shorter than the price on offer, and his top-5/top-10 indicators are strong, which matters for an each-way play in a no-cut field. He’s the more volatile of our two outright selections, so we’ve kept him to a standard 1pt stake.
Min Woo Lee — 40/1 each way, First Round Leader (5 places, 0.5pts each way)
We’re doubling up on Min Woo Lee with a first round leader selection. An early Thursday tee time gives him a clean run at the scoring conditions before the course gets tougher later in the day, and the model has this price bigger than it should be.
Min Woo Lee First Round Leader + Outright Winner — 275/1, 0.25pts straight
A small glory double combining the FRL angle with the outright case on the same player.
Justin Thomas — 25/1 each way (6 places) 1pt each way
Thomas has a strong recent history at this specific course — three straight finishes of T9, T5 and T9 here — backed up by six consecutive finishes of T23 or better since early May. His approach play at TPC River Highlands ranks inside the top five in this week’s field for proximity from 15 feet and in.
Russell Henley — 28/1 each way (6 places) 1pt each way
Henley had a quiet US Open until a strong final round, where he gained well over three strokes on his approach play. TPC River Highlands rewards accuracy, wedge play and putting, which are exactly his strengths — the model has him gaining among the most strokes per round at this course since 2024, behind only Scottie Scheffler and Tommy Fleetwood.
OPEN D’ITALIA — DP WORLD TOUR
Patrick Reed — 14/1 each way (5 places) 1pt each way
A rare DP World Tour selection, made on current form alone. Reed leads the Race to Dubai heading into this event off the back of two wins and a runner-up in his last three starts, and he shares favouritism in this field. He also has course experience here, having made the cut comfortably the last time the event was played at this venue.
SUMMARY
Seven selections across two tours this week — the bulk of the card at the Travelers Championship, plus a value-driven outing in Italy with Patrick Reed. Full odds, EW terms and the running P&L are always on the Substack site. Subscribe for free!

Min Woo Lee
No way to dress this one up — Jetty May, Signcastle City and Belgarum all missed the frame today, a clean sweep of losses for -6pts on the day. Our pick of the day, Jetty May, went off favourite but fell away and was never competitive in the Thatchers Handicap Chase, Signcastle City was also fancied but couldn’t find the gear change needed over the shorter trip at Newbury, and Belgarum’s each-way claims at Newton Abbot didn’t materialise either. These things happen — three each-way selections, none of them landed, and we take it on the chin.
It leaves the running horse racing total at +0.31pts, still in the black for the year overall despite today’s setback, with the brilliant Royal Ascot week still doing most of the heavy lifting.
Looking to tomorrow
The extreme heat across the UK this week is already causing fixture abandonments and rescheduling at several tracks, and that’s going to shape how we approach the next few days. Rather than force selections onto cards that might not even survive the going or get called off altogether, we’re going to be more considered and more focused on the golf side of things for now. That means the Travelers Championship will be the main event in tomorrow’s update, with racing selections kept to one or two at most — and only where we’re genuinely confident the meeting will go ahead as planned.

Two yards, two each-way price points, and a card that gives our model exactly the field shapes it likes. Here’s where our analysis is landing for Tuesday (in order of confidence!).
PICK 1: Jetty May — Thatchers Handicap Chase, Newton Abbot (8:50) — 11/2 — 1pt Each-Way
This is our standout selection of the day. Jetty May tops our ratings in this race by a clear margin, has a positive course form, and Paul Nicholls’ yard is in excellent recent form. The nine-runner field gives us the kind of each-way shape we look for, with three places on offer. It’s a staying handicap chase over 3m2f, so it’s not without risk, but at 11/2 with three places, this fits our steady-profit profile well.
PICK 2: Signcastle City — Venture Security Handicap, Newbury (7:00) — 11/2 — 1pt Each-Way (5 places)
A shorter trip than we’d usually want for an each-way play, but the terms make this one stand out. Signcastle City sits at or near the top of our key ratings and arrives in consistent form. The 16-runner field with five places paid gives us a sensible return angle even if he doesn’t quite get to the front. We’d want this at 11/2 or better to make the each-way terms work.
PICK 3: Belgarum — Handicap Hurdle, Newton Abbot (8:20) — 6/1 — 1pt Each-Way
Our third selection of the day. Belgarum has a strong profile across the board — recent form, course and distance positives, trainer form and a solid rating. We slightly prefer Jetty May from the same card, but Belgarum is a fair third selection in its own right at 6/1 each-way.
SUMMARY
Three each-way selections for Tuesday — Jetty May (11/2) at Newton Abbot is our pick of the day, with Signcastle City (11/2, 5 places) at Newbury and Belgarum (6/1) rounding out the card.

Nothing today – day off! Back tomorrow…

Royal Ascot is done for another year, and it’s been one of the strongest weeks our model has produced. Across five days and eleven selections, eight came home with a win or a place — a 73% strike rate across the board.
It started fast on Tuesday with Bow Echo winning the St James’s Palace Stakes at 4/5, backed up by a place for More Thunder in the Queen Anne at 4/1. Wednesday brought another winner in Ombudsman, who bolted up in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at 11/8, though Radiant Beauty couldn’t fire in the Kensington Palace Stakes. Thursday was a big day — Nola Soul justified a step up in class to win the Chesham Stakes at 5/1, and Jamestown ran on for third in the Britannia at 10/1. Friday kept the momentum going with Venetian Sun winning the Commonwealth Cup at 13/8 and Emit picking up a place in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes at 13/2.
Saturday’s final day selections didn’t go our way as cleanly — Ethical Diamond never landed a blow in the Hardwicke, and Satono Reve was run out of it on the line in the QEII Jubilee Stakes. Completely Random salvaged something from the day with a place in the Wokingham, getting up right on the line.
Across the whole meeting: four winners, four places, three that didn’t make the frame, and a week’s running total of +11.71pts. Full breakdown and the running P&L, as always, are on the site.
Of our three each-way plays at Shinnecock Hills, Russell Henley has struggled to +13 and is out of it. Robert MacIntyre is also well out of it on +7. Wyndham Clark is out in front at -7 (not one of our selections). Matt Fitzpatrick is the one keeping us interested, still in the mix at -3 as the tournament heads into the final rounds.
We’ll have the final golf result once the tournament wraps up on Sunday.
SUMMARY
A strong week at Royal Ascot — 8 of 11 selections landed, for a running total of +11.71pts. At the US Open, Fitzpatrick is the live hope as we head into the final stretch…

Going into the final day of Royal Ascot, 7 of our 8 selections at the meeting have either won or placed — Bow Echo, Ombudsman, Nola Soul and Venetian Sun all winning, More Thunder, Jamestown and Emit all placing, with Radiant Beauty the single selection that didn’t fire. That’s a strike rate most would be happy with across an entire season, never mind one week!
Saturday is the final day of the meeting, and three more selections go into the book.
Ethical Diamond drops back into Group 2 company after running in the Longines Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan in March, where he finished fifth of six, beaten 7l by Calandagan over the same 1m4f trip. A four-time winner from 1m4f to 1m6f on ground ranging from good to firm to yielding, he’s also a course and distance winner already. Trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Dylan Browne McMonagle, this is a horse dropping in class with the form and the team to take advantage. At 10/1 each-way, with some firms paying three places, we think that’s overpriced.
Satono Reve travels from Japan with a serious profile — nine wins from 6f to 1m, and his latest run saw him beaten just 4½l into second by Ka Ying Rising in the Group 1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize at Sha Tin, a track and grade that doesn’t flatter. Trained by Noriyuki Hori with Ryan Moore taking the ride, the combination of fresh, unexposed-to-UK-eyes form and a top jockey booking gives this run a real edge. At 7/2, we’re backing him with conviction at 1.5pts win.
The Wokingham is the biggest cavalry charge of the week, and Completely Random is our value play in it. A winner of five races from 5f to 6f, he was beaten 6l in 10th of 28 over 7f last time out — dropping back to 6f today and wearing cheekpieces for the first time, both changes that point to an improved showing. Trained by Harry Charlton with Ryan Moore booked, the application of headgear alongside the drop in trip is exactly the kind of angle our model flags. At 12/1 each-way on six places in a field this size, that’s good cover.
SUMMARY
7 of 8 at Royal Ascot this week — and three more selections to finish the meeting: Ethical Diamond in the Hardwicke Stakes at 10/1 (1pt EW, 3 places), Satono Reve in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at 7/2 (1.5pts win), and Completely Random in the Wokingham Stakes at 12/1 (1pt EW, 6 places). Thursday was another strong day for the model at Royal Ascot with our play of the day winning in the Chesham – two more now for tomorrow…
Nola Soul won the Chesham Stakes on Day 3 (11/2 SP, we quoted 5/1 with 30p Rule 4), while Jamestown ran on for 3rd in the Britannia Stakes at our quoted 10/1 (11/2 PSP). That takes the week’s running total to three winners and two places from six selections across the meeting so far!
Two more selections go into tomorrow’s card.
Venetian Sun is our standout case of the week. A winner of five of her last six starts across 5f and 6f, on ground ranging from good to firm through to good to soft, she’s a course and distance winner already and arrives with form that doesn’t have a visible weak point. Her latest win came as 7-4 favourite in the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock over 6f, beating Division by three lengths. At 13/8 for a filly this consistent, we’re backing her with conviction at 2.5pts win.
Emit is our each-way value play in a typically huge Ascot handicap. Successful at 1m1f and 1m4f on good and soft ground, he was stepped up to 1m6f at the Curragh earlier this month and found that a trip too far, finishing eighth of twelve, fourth at 5/1. Dropping back into range tomorrow, with Ryan Moore taking the ride for Joseph O’Brien, his form figures (2-4354) suggest he’s well capable of running into the places again. With five places paid each-way, that’s good cover at 13/2.
SUMMARY
Nola Soul (5/1) and Jamestown (10/1) both delivered on Day 3. Tomorrow we’re on Venetian Sun in the Commonwealth Cup at 13/8 (2.5pts win) and Emit in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes at 13/2 (1pt each-way, 5 places). Full reasoning, prices and the running P&L are always on the site.

Two days into Royal Ascot and the model has already landed its standout selection. Ombudsman bolted up in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at 11/8, following Bow Echo‘s win in the St James’s Palace Stakes at 4/5 on the opening day. More Thunder picked up a place at 4/1 each-way, and Radiant Beauty was the one selection that didn’t fire in the Kensington Palace Stakes. Two winners from four selections so far…
PICK 1: Nola Soul — Chesham Stakes (2:30) — 5/1 — 1.5pts Each-Way
Strong each-way play for a yard with serious form in this exact race — they trained last year’s runner-up, Thesecretadversary. This son of Justify won his Leopardstown debut with plenty in hand, beating subsequent Royal Ascot winner King Of Cloughan by three-quarters of a length. Half-brother to 1m winner Equal Force. 1.5pts each-way, 3 total.
PICK 2: Jamestown — Britannia Stakes (4:50) — 10/1 — 1pt Each-Way (6 places)
Plenty of untapped potential — been behind Bobby McGee twice this season but showed enough to suggest more is coming, then improved again at Dundalk last time. Today’s setup should suit, and six places each-way gives good cover in a typically huge field. 1pt each-way.
US Open reminder + two new picks: Russell Henley remains our pick from earlier in the week at 33/1 EW (8 places) for his course-fit profile.
New in!
Matt Fitzpatrick at 22/1 EW (6 places) — proven Shinnecock form and red-hot current form off a runner-up finish at the Canadian Open. 1pt each way
Robert MacIntyre at 50/1 EW (8 places) — last year’s US Open runner-up, built for the wind. 1pt each way

Day Two of the Royal Meeting brings seven races, two more Group Twos, a Group One and two of the biggest cavalry-charge handicaps of the entire week. We went through the full card – and two selections stood out for very different reasons — one is the strongest horse in a small, true Group 1, and the other is a value price in a 25-runner handicap from the hottest yard at the meeting.
The going remains good to firm, which continues to suit fast-ground performers and yards that target this week specifically.
The Prince of Wales’s Stakes is the middle-distance Group One of the week, and with only eight runners it is a true contest rather than a lottery. Ombudsman is the highest-rated horse in the field on official figures and arrives unbeaten in his last two starts. He is trained by John & Thady Gosden, whose yard is in outstanding form right now, and he is partnered by William Buick, the stable’s first-choice rider.
This is a short price, but the case is emphatic. The best horse, in the best form, from the meeting’s hottest big yard, in a small and true-run Group One over conditions that suit him perfectly — that is exactly the kind of situation where we are happy to take odds-on. Daryz is the one danger on official figures and has also won his last two, so this isn’t a complete formality, but Ombudsman holds the rating edge and we’re siding with the form and the yard.
The Kensington Palace Stakes is a 25-runner fillies’ handicap over the round mile, and this is where we found our value play of the day. Radiant Beauty is trained by James Owen, whose yard is firing on all cylinders at the meeting, and the booking of Ryan Moore for a 93-rated handicapper is a clear signal of intent.
Her form is progressive rather than exposed — she won two of her first three starts and bounced back to win again last time out. She’s well treated in the weights, gets a workable draw for a round-mile test at Ascot, and the ground is exactly as she needs it. With a field this size, most firms are paying six places each-way, which makes the terms here excellent — and at 13/2 we think she’s overpriced relative to her yard’s form and her own profile. Alobayyah heads the market at 4/1 off the back of a similarly hot Haggas yard, but her recent form is patchier and we think Radiant Beauty offers considerably more value at the prices on offer.
SUMMARY
Two selections for Day Two of Royal Ascot — Ombudsman to win the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at 11/8, and Radiant Beauty each-way (6 places) in the Kensington Palace Stakes at 13/2. One short-priced banker from the strongest form and yard in a small Group One, one each-way value play from a red-hot handicap yard in a big field.

The Royal Meeting gets underway on Tuesday at Ascot and we have two selections for the opening day of the world’s most prestigious flat racing festival. We are also going early on the US Open with a bonus pick ahead of Thursday’s first round at Shinnecock Hills.
The going at Ascot is forecast to be good to firm, which suits the type of flat, consistent performances our model looks for. Royal Ascot is the defining week of the British flat racing calendar and Day One features three Group One contests. The quality is exceptional and the fields are competitive — exactly where our AI model excels.
PICK 1: More Thunder — Queen Anne Stakes — 4/1 — 1pt Each-Way
The Queen Anne Stakes is the traditional opener to the Royal Meeting, run over a straight mile. It is a race that rewards horses who travel comfortably through their race and finish strongly on quick ground.
More Thunder is trained by William Haggas, whose yard has been in brilliant form. The trainer stats back this selection strongly. More Thunder has shown consistent ability over a mile on good to firm ground and the straight mile at Ascot fits his running style well. At four to one this is strong each-way value in an open but high-quality field.
PICK 2: Bow Echo — St James’s Palace Stakes — 4/5 — 2pts Win
The St James’s Palace Stakes is the premier milers’ contest for three year olds at the Royal Meeting and one of the most prestigious races of the week. This is our strongest selection of the day.
Bow Echo is our highest-confidence play at the Royal Meeting and we are going two points win. His recent form is excellent and everything about his profile suits this race. Our analysis was very clear on this one — the form, the going preference, the profile all align. At four to five he is the deserving market leader and we are happy to take the short price given the strength of the case.
The 2026 US Open begins on Thursday at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in New York. This is one of the most demanding tests in major championship golf. Links-style, exposed to Atlantic winds, firm and fast fairways, and rough that is absolutely unforgiving for anyone who strays off the fairway.
At Shinnecock, the stats that matter most are driving accuracy and precision iron play. Power without accuracy is a liability here. The players who tend to win US Opens at this venue are the disciplined, controlled ball-strikers rather than the bombers.
BONUS PICK: Russell Henley — US Open — 33/1 — 1pt Each-Way (8 places)
When our analysis went through the full US Open field, Henley’s course fit at Shinnecock stood out immediately. He has the best driving accuracy of any player in the field — a stat that is arguably the single most important metric for this specific venue. His iron play is elite and crucially, his game profile is built around hitting fairways, hitting greens, and grinding out consistent rounds rather than going for broke.
The 2018 US Open at Shinnecock was won by a player with exactly this kind of profile. Controlled, accurate, disciplined. Henley fits that template better than almost anyone in the field.
At 33/1 with eight places, the each-way return potential is exceptional. This is outstanding value for a player who fits this course better than his price suggests.

The biggest major of the summer is nearly here. The US Open tees off on Thursday at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York — and our selections will be up on Wednesday evening before a shot is hit.
Why Shinnecock Hills is Different
Shinnecock Hills is one of the most demanding venues in world golf. Links-style in feel, exposed to the coastal winds off Long Island, with firm and fast conditions that punish anything less than precise ball-striking and smart course management.
This is not a course where you bomb and gouge your way around. Shinnecock rewards players who shape the ball, manage their game, and stay patient when the conditions turn against them. The last time the US Open was held here, the winning score was under par — but only just. Historically, this course has handed out some of the toughest winning scores in major championship history. Over par is always in play.
Wind is the defining factor. Tee time in the morning or the afternoon can be the difference between a benign scoring round and a war. Our analysis factors in the forecast, the draw, and how each contender performs when conditions are at their most demanding.
What We’re Looking At
When our model runs the field for a US Open at Shinnecock, it’s weighing up:
Course fit — ball-strikers who work the ball and hit fairways. Big hitters who can’t control their driver will struggle on these exposed fairways with heavy rough.
Links and firm-ground form — players who have performed on similar surfaces (fast, firm, windy) tend to transfer that form. This is not a week for players who only shine on soft, receptive tour setups.
Weather and tee times — the draw matters enormously at Shinnecock. We’ll be tracking the forecast and factoring in which sessions are likely to play easier or harder.
Major championship record — Shinnecock finds you out mentally as much as it does technically. Players with a track record of competing in majors under pressure are given extra weight.
Current form — hot form coming in matters, but course fit overrides it here more than at almost any other event.
Selections on Wednesday
We’ll have our US Open selections live on Wednesday evening — giving you time to get on at a competitive price before round one begins Thursday morning.
This is one of the best events of the year for value-hunting. 156-player field, a course that levels the playing field, and genuine uncertainty about who thrives in the conditions. Our analysis thrives in exactly this kind of setup.
Blog post with full analysis drops Wednesday. Everything goes on here and Substack at the same time.

Five days. The biggest week in British flat racing. Group 1s, Group 2s, the best horses in the world, and some of the most competitive handicaps of the entire season. It’s the week every racing fan circles on the calendar — and starting Monday, Twister Tipster will be covering it day by day.
What to Expect
Each evening from Monday, our analysis will be running through the following day’s card at Ascot. We’ll identify the races where we see genuine value, run the full form data, assess the going and draw, and put out our selections before racing begins.
Five days of coverage. Five days of AI-powered selections. We’ll be posting picks for the big Ascot races each day — not every race, but the ones where our model gives us a compelling reason to act.
Royal Ascot is actually one of the best environments for this kind of analysis. The fields are smaller than your typical Saturday handicap. The form is stronger and more reliable. The horses are better exposed. All of that means our model has more to work with, and the selections should carry more confidence.
How It Works
Monday evening — Day 1 (Tuesday) selections posted
Tuesday evening — Day 2 (Wednesday) selections posted
Wednesday evening — Day 3 (Thursday) selections posted
Thursday evening — Day 4 (Friday) selections posted
Friday evening — Day 5 (Saturday) selections posted
All selections posted the evening before racing, so you have time to get on at a price that suits. Full analysis on each pick — race context, why the horse fits, what the data says. No fluff.
Follow Along
Everything goes up here on the blog and Substack first so subscribe. If you’re not already following, now’s the time — Royal Ascot week is exactly what Twister Tipster was built for.
See you Monday evening… 👑🏇

Two each-way selections for York on Saturday — both in different races, both in large competitive fields with generous place terms. A measured card ahead of Royal Ascot, starting on Tuesday.
Saturday’s card at York is the standout meeting for each-way value. Two handicap races in particular stand out — the 2:25 (Class 3, 7 furlongs, 20 runners, 5 places each way) and the 5:25 (Class 4, 6 furlongs, 22 runners, 5 places each way). Big fields, straight tracks, and generous place terms are exactly what our model is built to exploit.
The going is Good at York (GoingStick 6.8) — a fair surface that suits horses whose form has been built on similar ground.
We’re being deliberate here. One pick per race, two different races, both at prices where the place part does the heavy lifting.
Race: Sky Bet Supporting Macmillan Handicap — Class 3, 7f, Good, 20 runners, 5 places @ 1/5 odds Draw: Stall 18 of 22 declared Trainer: Karl Burke | Jockey: Jack Nicholls (5lb claim) | Age/Weight: 4yo, 9-06 | OR: 85
Recency Bias comes in here on the back of a 2nd last time out and has been remarkably consistent — form figures of 2-1422 show he has placed in five of his last six runs. That’s not a horse who’s struggling; that’s a horse who keeps finding the frame.
The key factors our analysis flagged:
Honest note on the draw: Stall 18 is high in a 20-runner straight 7f race at York, where low draws tend to be favoured. It’s the main negative and is factored into the price. The trainer and form profile override it for us, but it’s not ideal.
Stake: 1pt each way
Race: Class 4 Handicap — 6f, Good, 22 runners, 5 places @ 1/5 odds Draw: Stall 9 of 22 Trainer: Tim Easterby | Jockey: David Allan | Age/Weight: 7yo, 9-09 | OR: 80
Manila Scouse arrives here in excellent form — 2nd last time out, 3rd before that. This is a horse who’s been knocking consistently on the door and is running in a race where five places are paid on 22 runners. The arithmetic is simple: a horse with recent back-to-back placed runs in a big field is exactly what you want for an each-way play.
The key factors our analysis flagged:
Honest note: Manila Scouse is 7 years old — a veteran at this level. He’s consistent and reliable, but improvement may be limited. He’s here as a place machine, not a progressor.
Stake: 1pt each way
| Selection | Race | Time | Odds | Type | Stake |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recency Bias | Class 3 Handicap, 7f, York | 2:25 | 9/1 | EW | 1pt |
| Manila Scouse | Class 4 Handicap, 6f, York | 5:25 | 6/1 | EW | 1pt |
Total outlay: 4pts (1pt win + 1pt place × 2 selections)
Since relaunching with our fully AI-powered approach on 9 June, we’re building carefully and only selecting when the data gives us a compelling reason. Golden Muse at 11/2 each way opened the account earlier this week.
Royal Ascot starts on Tuesday June 16 and that’s when we’ll be playing bigger — there are some standout opportunities across the five days. For now, Saturday is about staying active and picking spots with genuine each-way merit.
Results posted as soon as the races run. 🏇

Two picks for the 5:18 handicap on Friday 12 June, 2026…
Two each-way selections for York tomorrow evening. Both in the 5:18 handicap — a 20-runner field over 10.5 furlongs on good ground, paying 5 places each way.
The 5:18 at York ticks every box for our model. A large field means generous each-way terms (5 places at 1/5 odds), the good ground is consistent and fair for all, and 10.5 furlongs suits horses with a staying profile and genuine stamina. With 20 runners, the pace scenario is unpredictable — which means horses drawn low get a natural advantage by avoiding traffic on a straight track.
Both of our selections are drawn in the bottom four stalls. That matters.
Trainer: Tim Easterby | Jockey: Sean Kirrane | Draw: 4 of 20
Poet’s Dawn won last time out and Easterby has turned him around quickly — that’s a deliberate move from a trainer who knows his horse is in form and wants to strike while the iron is hot. At 11 years old, this horse has clearly found his level and is thriving.
The key factors our analysis flagged:
Stake: 1pt each way
Trainer: Richard & Peter Fahey | Jockey: Barry McHugh | Draw: 3 of 20
Glistening Nights has been knocking on the door — third then second in his last two starts. He’s the safer of the two picks: a horse whose form says he’ll run into a place, trained by one of the most prolific yards in Britain.
The key factors our analysis flagged:
Stake: 1pt each way
| Selection | Race | Odds | Type | Stake |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Poet’s Dawn | 5:18 York | 14/1 | EW | 1pt |
| Glistening Nights | 5:18 York | 9/1 | EW | 1pt |
Total outlay: 4pts (1pt win + 1pt place × 2 selections)
Since relaunching with our fully AI-powered approach on 9 June, we’re running at +2.60pts — highlighted by Golden Muse landing at 11/2 each way earlier this week. We’re building carefully and selecting only when the data gives us a compelling reason to act.
Good luck tomorrow. Results posted as soon as the race is run. 🏇

The RBC Canadian Open tees up this week at TPC Toronto, a tree-lined parkland course in Ontario. Two players have come out clearly from this week’s analysis. Here’s the reasoning…
AARON RAI — 1pt each way @ 33/1 6 places, 1/4 odds Aaron Rai is built for this kind of course. TPC Toronto’s North Course rewards precise iron play — it’s a tree-lined parkland where wayward driving gets punished and approach play separates the contenders from the also-rans. Rai’s approach game is among the elite in this field, and June conditions in Ontario — potentially soft ground, some wind, cool temperatures — only sharpen that edge further. The AI model places him firmly inside the top 10 in projected contention, yet the market has left him at 33/1. That gap is the value. Six places at 1/4 odds means the place return alone (just over 8/1) is worth having. This is a confident each-way play.
NICOLAI HOJGAARD — 1pt each way @ 30/1 6 places, 1/5 odds Hojgaard brings a balanced game to a course that demands exactly that — length off the tee, quality iron play, and enough control to navigate the trees. Our analysis rates him among the genuine top-10 contenders in this field. 30/1 is a proper each-way price for a player at his level, and six places gives excellent coverage.
Summary: Aaron Rai — 1pt each way @ 33/1 (6 places, 1/4 odds) Nicolai Hojgaard — 1pt each way @ 30/1 (6 places, 1/5 odds) Total staked: 4pts twistertipster.com | 18+ · Be Responsible · Past results do not guarantee future returns

Aaron Rai
The AI analysis has landed on the 8:10 at Kempton this Wednesday (June 10) — a fillies’ handicap over 1m3f on the all-weather — and it’s come back with two horses in the same race. Here’s why, and here’s the play…
— 🏇 DESERT BELLE — 1pt to finish first @ 9/2
@ 9/2 Trainer: Sir Mark Prescott | Jockey: Luke Morris Race: 8:10 Kempton (AW), Fillies’ Handicap, Class 4, 1m3f
Sir Mark Prescott is one of the great craftsmen of British racing. He doesn’t enter horses in races they won’t be competitive in — and when his fillies show up carrying the lightest weight in the field, you pay attention. Desert Belle goes to post tonight carrying 116lbs. The top weight, Club Class, is on 142lbs. That’s a 26lb swing in Desert Belle’s favour — an enormous advantage in a handicap. Her form reads 2-1-4, a horse placing consistently and picking up a win along the way. The model reads this as a Prescott placement job: patient, deliberate, and timed to perfection. Luke Morris partners, the stable’s trusted jockey. 9/2 is widely available. We’re backing her to finish first.
⭐ GOLDEN MUSE — 1pt each way @ 11/2 (Bet365) 3 places, 1/5 odds
Trainer: Marco Botti | Jockey: Kieran Shoemark Race: 8:10 Kempton (AW), Fillies’ Handicap, Class 4, 1m3f
Golden Muse is the top-rated horse in this race on an Official Rating of 80, yet she’s only carrying 128lbs — well in at the weights for her mark. Recent form figures of 3113 tell the story of a filly in good heart: two wins from her last four starts, consistent, progressive. Kieran Shoemark, one of the smarter jockeys around, takes the ride. At 11/2 in a 9-runner Class 4 with three places paid, this is a textbook each-way play — a genuine win chance at a price that makes the place return attractive too. 11/2 currently available with Bet365 — worth checking around if that price has moved.
🔄 REVERSE FORECAST — 0.5pt Desert Belle and Golden Muse to finish 1st and 2nd in either order.
Both horses have independent cases for winning this race. If the analysis is right on both, they could fight out the finish — and at those prices, the Computer Straight Forecast could return significantly. 0.5pt is a small side play on that outcome.
— Summary:
Desert Belle — 1pt to finish first @ 9/2 (various)
Golden Muse — 1pt each way @ 11/2 (Bet365)
Desert Belle / Golden Muse Reverse Forecast — 0.5pt Total: 3.5pts staked

No selections today – day off! Back tomorrow…

Three from three on Friday — Thundering On won the Oaks at 11/2, Hickory Lad won at 4/1, Alpha Crucis placed at 9/1. Horse racing P&L into profit for the first time. Now let’s build on it.
She’s Perfect — 2.05 Epsom, 4/1, 1pt win Trainer: Charlie Fellowes | Jockey: Kieran Shoemark | OR: 110
A highly rated filly with an official rating of 110 — a mark that puts her firmly in the quality bracket. By Sioux Nation out of a Galileo mare, she combines speed on the sire’s side with stamina on the dam’s. Charlie Fellowes is a sharp trainer who picks his spots carefully, and Kieran Shoemark takes the ride. In a field of eight, she is the standout play in the opener.
🏆 James J Braddock — 4pm Epsom Derby, 9/1 each way (3 places, 1/5 odds), 1pt EW Trainer: Joseph O’Brien | Jockey: Dylan Browne McMonagle | Stall 10
The Cinderella Man comes to Epsom. Named after the world heavyweight boxing champion of 1935-37 — the ultimate underdog — this three-year-old has already written his own underdog story. Last month at Leopardstown he beat the odds-on favourite in the Derby Trial, and that form demands respect in the world’s greatest Flat race.
By Zarak — a son of Dubawi out of the legendary unbeaten Arc winner Zarkava — the pedigree screams stamina and soft ground. Rain has arrived at Epsom overnight and the going will be testing for the Derby. That plays perfectly into his hands. Trained by Joseph O’Brien in Kilkenny and partnered by Dylan Browne McMonagle, who also rode our Oaks winner Thundering On yesterday — a yard in brilliant form this week.
At 9/1 with three places available, this is our Derby selection.
🌎 Emerging Market — Belmont Stakes, Saratoga, Sunday 12.04am UK, 6/1 EW, 1pt EW Trainer: Chad Brown
The final jewel of the American Triple Crown runs overnight into Sunday. Nine runners at Saratoga — and we’re taking on market favourite Renegade.
Renegade is the favourite but is a deep closer who needs pace to run at. In a field without much early speed, his closing kick could find less to aim at than he needs.
Emerging Market is our value play at 6/1. Trained by Chad Brown — one of America’s elite handlers — he beat the Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo in the Louisiana Derby earlier this season. His 10th place finish in the Kentucky Derby was only his third career start — inexperience was the key factor, and he’s entitled to significant improvement. At 6/1 each way, this is the standout value in the Belmont field.
| Selection | Race | Odds | Stake |
|---|---|---|---|
| She’s Perfect | 2.05 Epsom | 4/1 | 1pt win |
| James J Braddock | 4pm Derby, Epsom | 9/1 | 1pt EW |
| Emerging Market | Belmont Stakes (Sun 12.04am) | 6/1 | 1pt EW |
3 places 1/5 (Derby), EW terms apply to Belmont. Not financial advice. Please be responsible.

Oaks day at Epsom and we have two supporting selections before the big race at 4pm.
🐴 Hickory Lad — 2.05 Epsom, 4/1, 1pt win Trainer: Phillip Makin | Jockey: S H James
A consistent two-year-old who has never finished outside the first two from three career starts. Went agonisingly close at Chester last month, beaten just over a length as the market favourite. By James Garfield, he’s shown an appetite for racing from the front and handles good ground well — conditions he’ll face on Epsom’s straight course today. A straightforward win play at 4/1.
🐴 Alpha Crucis — 3.15 Epsom, 9/1 each way (5 places, 1/5 odds), 1pt EW Trainer: G & J Moore | Jockey: Jason Watson | OR: 92
The ground angle here is compelling. Alpha Crucis has won four times from a mile to a mile and one furlong — all on soft or heavy ground. Today’s going at Epsom on the Derby course is officially Good to Soft and with plenty of moisture in the ground after a wet week, conditions suit him well. By Australia, a son of Galileo, he’s built to handle cut. Fifth at Doncaster in March at 28-1, beaten just two and a half lengths in a field of 21, was a respectable effort on his return. At 9/1 with five places on offer, this is a solid each-way play.
Don’t miss our Oaks selection — Thundering On runs at 4pm. Full analysis on Substack and the website.
Analysis produced by the Twister Tipster AI model. Not financial advice.

Epsom this weekend. Two of the most iconic races in the world — the Oaks on Friday and the Derby on Saturday. The Twister Tipster analysis has identified one selection for each race, and if the rain comes as forecast, both could be right in the mix.
🏇 The Betfred Oaks — Friday 6 June, Epsom, 4pm
Thundering On — 11/2 each way (3 places, 1/5 odds) Trained by Joseph O’Brien | Jockey: Dylan Browne McMonagle | Stall 5 1pt each way
Thundering On is a Frankel filly with one of the most extraordinary stories in this year’s Classics. Her dam, the Group 1 winner Thundering Nights, sadly passed away — and this filly now carries the entire legacy of that family on her shoulders. She’s already shown she’s worthy of it.
A commanding win in the Group 3 Salsabil Stakes at Navan over ten furlongs showed she relishes a test of stamina, and the step up to Epsom’s twelve furlongs looks well within her compass. With Joseph O’Brien training and Dylan Browne McMonagle aboard, the team is set up perfectly.
The key angle is the ground. Thundering On handles testing conditions well, and if the rain arrives at Epsom as expected, that plays right into her hands. At 11/2 with three places available, this is our Oaks selection.
🏇 The Betfred Derby — Saturday 7 June, Epsom, 4pm
James J Braddock — 10/1 each way (4 places, 1/5 odds) Trained by Joseph O’Brien, Kilkenny | Jockey: Dylan Browne McMonagle 1pt each way
The name tells you everything you need to know. James J Braddock was the American heavyweight boxing champion of the world from 1935 to 1937 — the ultimate underdog, nicknamed the Cinderella Man for his remarkable comeback from near-destitution to world champion. And just like his namesake, this three-year-old doesn’t read the script.
By Zarak — a son of Dubawi out of the legendary Zarkava, unbeaten Arc winner — the pedigree screams stamina and soft ground. That matters enormously at Epsom this weekend with rain forecast. Last month at Leopardstown, James J Braddock upset an odds-on favourite in the Derby Trial, and that form demands respect. His earlier fifth this season looks a blip; the Derby Trial performance is what tells the story.
Trained by Joseph O’Brien in Kilkenny and partnered again by Dylan Browne McMonagle — who also rides Thundering On in the Oaks the day before — the yard is clearly operating at the top of its game. Drawn in stall 10 of 13, he’ll get a clean run around Epsom’s famous horseshoe bend rather than getting boxed in on the rail.
The Cinderella Man. Epsom. Saturday. Let’s see.
| Race | Selection | Odds | Stake |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Oaks (Fri) | Thundering On | 11/2 EW | 1pt EW |

The Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village is one of the most demanding tests on the PGA Tour — and one that rewards the right kind of player. Jack Nicklaus’s design punishes wayward shots and demands precise iron play into small, firm greens. This week, the AI model has identified two standout selections that fit the course profile perfectly.
Åberg is the model’s purest fit for Muirfield Village this week. His approach play ranks among the very best in the field — and at a course where iron play is the defining skill, that matters more than anywhere. He combines elite ball-striking from the tee with the precision approach game that Nicklaus’s design rewards. At 14/1 with 5 places available, the AI model rates this as the standout each-way value of the week.
1pt each way
The AI model identifies McIlroy as carrying the clearest positive edge in the field this week. Our analysis rates him at a significantly higher win probability than the market implies — and at 12/1, that gap represents genuine value. He’s the best driver of the ball in the field and combines that with elite approach play, exactly the two-dimensional game Muirfield Village demands. The Memorial is a course that suits his powerful, controlled ball-striking.
1pt each way
McIlroy’s elite ball-striking also makes him our First Round Leader selection. Players who can drive the ball long and straight at Muirfield tend to generate early momentum, and McIlroy’s power off the tee is unmatched in this field. 18/1 in the FRL market with 5 places is strong each-way coverage.
1pt each way
Available at selected bookmakers including Bet365. A combined market backing McIlroy to dominate from the front — lead after Thursday and see it through to Sunday. At 45/1 this is a small-stake, high-reward play on McIlroy’s best-case scenario.

It’s been an eventful week at Twister Tipster — and the headline from the golf is a big one.
J.J. Spaun leads the Charles Schwab Challenge at -10, with Ludvig Åberg joint 10th at -5. We had Spaun at 28/1 each way and Åberg as Pick of the Week at 8/1 going into the tournament — both are very much alive heading into the weekend at Colonial.
In the Austrian Alpine Open, Casey Jarvis is on the cut line at -2 and fighting to make the weekend. The ShopRite LPGA Classic gets underway today — Charley Hull and Robyn Choi are yet to tee off and fully live.
Saturday Racing — two picks:
🐴 Kodi Bear Light — 2.15 Beverley, 10/3, 1pt win Karl Burke’s two-year-olds have been in excellent form this season. Kodi Bear Light brings race experience to a field of largely unraced rivals — in early-season juvenile races that counts for a lot.
⭐ Crest of Fire — 3.45 Carlisle, 11/2 each way (5 places, 1/5 odds), 1pt each way The Silver Bowl was famously abandoned at Haydock last week after a hole appeared in the track — and this rescheduled renewal heads to Carlisle. Crest of Fire is our selection at 11/2 with 5 places on offer.

⛳ Charles Schwab Challenge — Colonial CC, Fort Worth TX (May 28-31)
Colonial Country Club is one of the PGA Tour’s most demanding tests. Tight, tree-lined fairways reward precision over power, and the small, firm greens put approach play front and centre. Our analysis points to players with elite iron games and solid putting — and we’ve landed on five plays this week.

**⭐ Pick of the Day: Ludvig Åberg — 8/1 each way (6 places, 1/5 odds)**

Åberg is the standout of the week. His approach play is elite, his composure under pressure has been evident all season, and Colonial suits his game profile perfectly. The extra win stake reflects how strongly the model rates him. At 8/1 with 6 places available, this is the anchor of the card.
—
**Justin Thomas — 18/1 each way (6 places, 1/5 odds)**
*1pt each way*
JT is a former winner at Colonial and knows this course inside out. Experience around tight, demanding tracks counts here, and his iron play remains one of the best on tour. 18/1 looks fair for a player with this level of pedigree at this venue.
—
**J.J. Spaun — 28/1 each way (6 places, 1/5 odds)**
*1pt each way*
Spaun is one of the more underrated ball-strikers on tour and has been consistent this season. The model has him well-positioned at this course profile, and 28/1 represents good each-way value with 6 places on offer.
—
**Russell Henley — 33/1 each way, First Round Leader (6 places, 1/5 odds)**
*1pt each way — FRL market*
The First Round Leader play of the week. Henley is a steady, accurate ball-striker who starts tournaments well. The FRL market often delivers more value than the outright, and 33/1 in this field is generous.
—
**🎲 Dark Horse Alert: Max Greyserman — 33/1 each way (10 places, 1/5 odds)**
*1pt each way*
Greyserman is this week’s big-price play. Strong approach stats — the most important metric at Colonial — and a game that suits tight, technical courses. 10 places at 33/1 is exceptional each-way coverage. The model has him around 13.5% chance of a top-10 finish. At those odds, this is the value play of the week.
—
**⚡ Glory Double: Russell Henley FRL + Russell Henley Outright — 389/1 (Spreadex / SportingIndex)**
*0.25pt each way*
A small interest in the Henley double — FRL combined with him going all the way. At 389/1 this is pure upside. Available as a combination at Spreadex and SportingIndex.
—
🏔️ Austrian Alpine Open — Kitzbühel (May 28-31) — BONUS DP WORLD TOUR PICKS
This week’s DP World Tour event takes place in the stunning Austrian Alps. Two plays from a competitive field.
—
**Casey Jarvis — 18/1 each way (6 places, 1/5 odds)**
*1pt each way*
The South African youngster has a sharp iron game that suits this course profile. His approach stats are among the best in the DP World Tour field and 6 places at 18/1 gives strong each-way coverage. A player whose best golf is very much still ahead of him.
—
**🎲 Dark Horse Alert: Marcel Siem — 125/1 each way (10 places, 1/5 odds)**
*0.5pt each way*
The big-price play of the week. An experienced German campaigner competing on home turf in the Alps — local knowledge and course feel can count for a lot in events like this. 10 places at 125/1 is a huge each-way bet at a tiny stake. The upside is enormous for a half-point investment.
—
🏌️♀️ ShopRite LPGA Classic — Seaview, New Jersey (May 29-31) — BONUS LPGA PICKS
A 54-hole event on the Bay Course at Seaview — a flat, links-influenced layout that rewards consistency and accuracy. Two picks from the women’s game this week.
—
**Charley Hull — 12/1 each way (6 places, 1/5 odds)**
*1pt each way*
World No. 7 and the highest-ranked player in the field this week. Hull is a fan favourite and a genuine contender wherever she tees it up. Consistent, composed and perfectly capable of dominating a 54-hole event. Top of the market for a reason — and 12/1 looks fair for a player of her quality in this field.
—
**🎲 Dark Horse Alert: Robyn Choi — 60/1 each way (6 places, 1/5 odds)**
*1pt each way*
The Australian has been quietly posting consistent top-20 finishes on tour. 6 places at 60/1 is where the value is — her place odds at 1/5 work out at 12/1, which looks generous for a player with her level of consistency. One of the better each-way prices on the board this week.

Charley Hull
Two things to look forward to this week.
Tomorrow we publish our Charles Schwab Challenge selections for Colonial Country Club (May 28-31). Tee times and weather conditions will be confirmed overnight and the analysis will be running in the morning. Colonial rewards precision over power — a very different test to last week’s CJ Cup, and a course profile our analysis tends to enjoy.
On the horse racing front, Saturday brings Class 2 action at both Chester and Beverley. Chester’s unique tight circuit and Beverley’s stiff track both throw up excellent each way opportunities. Selections will follow later in the week.

A positive week on the golf front, and one that demonstrated exactly what the Twister Tipster AI analysis is built to do.
CJ Cup Byron Nelson — Results
Si Woo Kim led the tournament from the front for most of the week. Our outright selection shot a stunning 60 in Round 2 to build a commanding lead, only to be pipped on the final day by a charging Wyndham Clark. Frustrating — but the each way place paid, and that’s +1.8pts on the outright.
Keith Mitchell’s First Round Leader each way selection landed beautifully — T4 after Round 18 with dead heat terms applying, but the place paid and returned +2.29pts.
The glory double — Mitchell FRL place combined with Kim outright place — also landed, returning nearly 6x the outlay from a small stake.
Jordan Spieth didn’t fire as hoped, but overall the CJ Cup was our best golf tournament of the season:
CJ Cup Byron Nelson — Final P/L: +4.55pts ✅
Charles Schwab Challenge — Preview
The PGA Tour moves to Colonial Country Club, Fort Worth, Texas for the Charles Schwab Challenge (May 28-31). This is one of the most prestigious non-major events on the calendar — a course that rewards precision and accuracy above raw power, with tight fairways and demanding par 70 layout that punishes wayward drivers.
A strong field has assembled, with Ludvig Aberg, Robert MacIntyre, Hideki Matsuyama and Justin Thomas among the headline names. Brooks Koepka has withdrawn. And notably — Keith Mitchell is back in the field fresh off his CJ Cup showing.
Our full selections for the Charles Schwab Challenge will be published on Wednesday once tee times and weather conditions are confirmed. That’s when the data delivers the clearest edge — as last week’s analysis proved.

Si Woo Kim
Taking a rest day from the racing card today, but there’s plenty to watch.
Si Woo Kim goes into the final round of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson with a two-shot lead over Wyndham Clark and Scottie Schefflier at -21. Our outright selection has led or co-led all week — a nerve-shredding final round awaits.
Full golf update, results and P&L tracker update to follow once the dust settles. Back tomorrow with the racing.

A quick update before the afternoon gets underway — because things are looking good.
Si Woo Kim shot a 60 in Round 2 of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and leads by five shots going into the weekend. Our outright selection is in pole position with two rounds to play, and the glory double place is very much alive. Full golf update to follow once the tournament concludes.
Closer to home, American Affair is the gamble of the day at Haydock ahead of the 3:30 Temple Stakes. We posted him at 10/1 this morning — he’s now as short as 6/1. If you moved early you got a significant price advantage. That race goes to post at 3:30, followed by the Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh at 3:40. Both selections are still live on the site.
Now — two more for this afternoon and evening.
Trainer: James Moffatt | Jockey: Charlotte Jones
Won last time out at Hexham over 3 miles by five lengths as favourite, and he’s done nothing wrong throughout his career at this trip and ground. James Moffatt is a trainer who knows the northern tracks intimately and Charlotte Jones keeps the ride — straightforward continuity with a horse in form.
At 5/4 this is the most confident selection of the weekend — a horse who should go very close and is fairly priced at the top of the market.
Selection: 2pt win — 5/4
Trainer: Marco Botti | Jockey: Marco Ghiani
Beaten a neck last time at Leicester as 10/3 favourite — desperately unlucky and a run that reads better than the result suggests. The draw advantage flag is also positive, conditions line up, and Marco Ghiani keeps the ride for Marco Botti’s yard.
Best price 5/1 is available if you shop around — worth taking over the 9/2 on offer elsewhere.
Selection: 1pt each way — 5/1

It’s been a promising week at Twister Tipster. Before we get into the weekend selections, a quick note on the golf — because our AI analysis has already delivered…
Keith Mitchell placed in the First Round Leader market at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, landing at T4 after the opening round. Dead heat terms applied but the place paid, and it’s a tidy return to open the tournament. Si Woo Kim also sits T4 after Round 1 — our outright selection is bang in contention with three rounds to play. More on that as the week unfolds.

American Affair — 10/1 each way (4 places, 1/5 odds)
Trainer: J S Goldie | Jockey: P Mulrennan
The form book tells a simple and compelling story with American Affair. This is a horse who won at Group 1 level over 5 furlongs — the highest grade of flat racing — before connections tried him over further. The experiment didn’t work. A distant 10th at York over 6 furlongs last time can be completely forgiven; that trip found him out.
Now he comes back to 5 furlongs, the trip at which he is proven at the very top level. Paul Mulrennan takes the ride — a sharp booking for a northern track — and the market is already reflecting stable confidence with a significant range of prices available. The best price of 10/1 with four places paid represents real each way value against a field where the favourite is short enough to make the place market extremely competitive at the top.
Selection: 1pt each way — 10/1, 4 places, 1/5 odds. Check best available price before placing.
Go Just Do It — 40/1 each way (3 places, 1/5 odds)
Trainer: Joseph O’Brien | Jockey: Dylan Browne McMonagle
The narrative around this selection is extraordinary. Go Just Do It is a son of Kingman — who won this exact race, the Irish 2000 Guineas, in 2014. Kingman’s son now lines up in the same Classic, and the miler pedigree could not be more obvious. His dam’s sire Lope De Vega adds the stamina for the step from 7 furlongs to a mile, making the trip a comfortable and well-supported progression.
His most recent run could not have been more impressive — sent off 8/13 favourite at Gowran Park, he beat Solana Beach by four lengths with plenty in the tank. He was doing it well within himself.
Dylan Browne McMonagle is in the saddle, one of the sharpest young jockeys operating in Ireland right now and a regular for trainer Joseph O’Brien. And here is where the story takes an extra twist — lining up against him is the 4/9 favourite Gstaad, trained by none other than Aidan O’Brien, Joseph’s father. Son versus father in a Classic, with the value sitting firmly on the younger O’Brien’s runner.
At 4/9, Gstaad is simply unbackable from an each way perspective. The place money in this race has to go on an outsider. At 40/1 with three places paid, Go Just Do It is exactly the type of longshot our analysis is designed to identify.
Selection: 1pt each way — 40/1, 3 places, 1/5 odds.
Alankar — 7/1 each way
Trainer: Takashi Saito | Bred: Northern Farm
For those who want to venture further afield on Sunday morning, the Japanese Oaks at Tokyo is a fascinating race — and it features a selection whose story mirrors our Irish Guineas pick almost exactly.
Alankar’s dam is Sinhalite, who won this very race in 2016. The daughter now lines up in the same Classic her mother won a decade ago. Her sire Epiphaneia won the Japan Cup over this exact 2400 metre Tokyo trip, and her damsire is the legendary Deep Impact — the most influential middle-distance sire in Japanese racing history. Every strand of her pedigree points to a horse who will relish stepping up to the classic distance.
Her form on the track supports the case. Unbeaten on debut and impressive in winning the Nojigiku Stakes before a creditable run in the prestigious Hanshin Juvenile Fillies G1. Trained by Takashi Saito and bred by Northern Farm, the gold standard operation in Japanese thoroughbred racing.
At 7/1, this is the most straightforward of our three weekend selections in terms of price — a horse with blue-chip Classic breeding running in the race her mother won.
Selection: 1pt each way — 7/1. Verify place terms with your provider before placing.

No new selections today – our golf picks are now in play. Back tomorrow…

The PGA Tour’s CJ Cup Byron Nelson gets underway Thursday at TPC Craig Ranch, and our AI-powered analysis has identified two outright plays and a first round leader pick worth serious consideration.
Subscribe to the Substack for every selection from the Golf AI tool…
TPC Craig Ranch consistently rewards accuracy over raw distance — five years of data point firmly in one direction. Approach play and driving accuracy are the metrics that matter here, not how far you hit it. Winning scores are deep — mid-to-high twenties under par — so we need players who can sustain scoring across four rounds.
Si Woo Kim — 14/1 EW, 5 places (1pt each way, 2 total) The standout value in the field beyond the obvious favourite. Si Woo’s strokes gained profile is second only to Scheffler in this entire field — his approach play and ball-striking metrics are perfectly aligned with what TPC Craig Ranch demands. He’s a previous winner at this venue and he draws the early wave on Thursday, the ideal conditions in Texas. At 14/1 with five places on offer this is our headline selection.
Jordan Spieth — 16/1 EW, 5 places (1pt each way, 2 total) A Texas native in his home state, and the data backs up the intuition. Strong approach play, balanced strokes gained profile, and a proven record in Texas events across his career. Spieth’s ceiling when his short game clicks is as high as anyone in this field. Five places at 16/1 gives excellent each-way coverage. Worth ensuring the best available price as this one may shorten.
Keith Mitchell FRL (First Round Leader) — 45/1 EW, 6 places (1pt each way, 2 total) The first round leader pick is built around one key factor — Mitchell tees off at 07:11, one of the earliest slots in the entire field. In Texas in May, morning conditions are significantly calmer and cooler than the afternoon. His strokes gained profile fits — solid off the tee, strong iron play — and he’s a known fast starter who historically over-performs in opening rounds. Six places at 1/5 gives that extra safety net. The extra place is the reason to seek out the best terms on this one.
Glory Double — Mitchell FRL + Si Woo Kim (0.25pt each way, 0.5 total) For those interested in the combined selection, some platforms offer this as a linked double at around 503/1. Most providers no longer offer this market so availability is limited — worth checking before Thursday morning.

We had an utter dud of a day yesterday with both selections being very poor.
I am going to leave the picks for today and look ahead to the golf – selections will be out tomorrow using our new cool AI tool.
Then we will look ahead to much better racing towards the weekend…

A quick look back at the PGA Championship before we move forward. Mixed feelings — Rahm and Schauffele both placed and we very nearly broke even on the week, which in a Major field of 150+ players is far from a disaster. Rahm in particular looked like he had the tools to win it but couldn’t quite close the gap on Rai down the stretch. A few things went against us but the analysis was sound and the model identified two of the players who genuinely contended.
On to more positive things — the CJ Cup Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch starts Thursday. We’ll have our full data-backed analysis and selections published Wednesday. Watch this space.
For today, two selections across the UK and Ireland evening cards.
Counting Cards — 3:00 Carlisle — 8/1 each way, 4 places (1pt) Back down to 5f and racing off a mark of 70 which looks very workable. Raced too keenly last time at Musselburgh but the headgear comes off today which should help significantly. Trainer Edward Bethell has an excellent record at Carlisle and that’s a major positive. Each-way chance with four places on offer.
Syzygy — 6:50 Roscommon — 9/4 (1pt) A standout on the card. Won a hat-trick last season including over a similar race at the Curragh, and her performance in the Irish Lincoln this season marks her out as the one to beat here. Back up in distance which suits. Should be there or thereabouts — worth ensuring best odds guaranteed in case of any market drift before the off.
Please play responsibly — 18+

No selections for today. Back tomorrow…

Three selections across the afternoon and evening cards today, with a win play at Newbury and each-way value at Newmarket and Doncaster.
Albert Einstein — 3:10 Newbury — 9/4 WIN (1pt) The Moore/O’Brien combination always demands respect, and Albert Einstein has the form to back it up. Twice successful at 6f on good ground, he stepped up to 7f last month and ran a cracker — third of eight behind Alparslan, beaten just 1¾ lengths as the 9/4 favourite. Drop back to his optimum 6f trip looks like the move that unlocks a win today.
Silver Ghost — 2:50 Newmarket — 4/1 EW 4 places (1pt each way) Two wins at 7f on good ground and a solid course-and-distance run earlier this month — third of six behind Billyjoh, beaten 2¾ lengths at 7/1 on good to firm. Proven at the track, proven at the trip. At 4/1 each-way with four places on offer, the value is there.
Lorna B — 6:38 Doncaster — 5/1 EW 4 places (1pt each way) Three wins across good, good to soft and all-weather surfaces at 6f. Latest run was September last year when fifth of 16 at Thirsk at 9/1, beaten 2¾ lengths behind Eternal Sunshine. Seasonal return to watch, and 5/1 each-way with four places on offer is a fair price.
All selections 1pt unless stated. Each-way = win and place. Bet Responsibly — 18+

The final day of the York Dante Festival brings three selections across the card — a proven course performer at a solid price, a big-priced each-way play with the draw in her favour, and a potentially special horse heading towards Royal Ascot.
The low draw bias has been a consistent theme all week at York and today’s selections account for that — stalls 4, 5 and 6 across the three races.
2:55 — HAVE SECRET | 10/1 | 5 places | 1pt each-way | Stall 6
Five wins on good to soft ground, a victory at Pontefract last month and a third place in this exact race earlier this season. Have Secret arrives with genuine York form and conditions that suit. Stall 6 is ideal given this week’s draw bias and five places at 10/1 makes this a well-grounded each-way selection. The form is backed up, the track suits and the draw works in her favour.
1pt each-way @ 10/1 — 5 places
4:40 — NUEVO SLOVO | 40/1 | 5 places | 1pt each-way | Stall 4
The standout each-way value selection of the day. Well handicapped off 91, returning to 5 furlongs which looks the right trip, and drawing stall 4 — the perfect position given this week’s low draw bias at York.
The stable switch to Simon Pearce is the risk but also the opportunity — fresh horses for new trainers often run well and Pearce needs a winner. At 40/1 with five places the each-way mathematics are excellent. If the ability is there, she should comfortably outrun her odds.
1pt each-way @ 40/1 — 5 places
5:15 — PORTCULLIS | Evens | WIN | 2pts win | Stall 5 | William Buick
A Frankel offspring, half-brother to Crown Estate, carrying the colours of the King and Queen with William Buick in the saddle. Portcullis stormed home at Newmarket recently and today looks like the next stop on what could be a very exciting season.
The potential destination is the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot — and a convincing win today would announce him as a genuine contender for one of the summer’s most prestigious races. Evens reflects the market’s confidence. The pedigree, the form, the jockey and the occasion all point the same way.
2pts win @ Evens
Total today: 4pts staked across three selections. For live updates follow on X and Bluesky. The AI Golf Bot’s Min Woo Lee is joint leading the PGA Championship at 55/1 after round one — full card on the Twister Tipster Substack, free to subscribe at the link below.

2:20 — Hammer the Hammer | 8/1 | 6 places | 1pt each-way
An Irish raider that the market may be underestimating. Better than handicap level on his best form, he showed genuine speed at Royal Ascot last year before connections dropped him back in trip. The return to 5 furlongs looks spot on. The key flag here is a recent wind operation — horses returning from wind surgery are consistently underrated by the market and if that has resolved his breathing issues this is a completely different proposition at 8/1.
The one caveat is stall 13 — not ideal given the low draw bias at York this week. We’re taking the risk on the form and the wind op rather than worrying about the draw. At 8/1 with 6 places the each-way value justifies it.
1pt each-way @ 8/1 — 6 places
2:55 — Cerulean Bay | 6/1 | 5 places | 1pt each-way
This one ticks almost every box. Was below his best in the first half of last season but improved significantly as the year went on — that trajectory heading into this campaign is encouraging. Handles courses with bends well, which York suits perfectly, and crucially draws a nice stall in 6.
The clincher is the course form — he finished second here over the same distance last year. He knows the track, handles the trip, and arrives in improving form with a favourable draw. Solid each-way proposition at 6/1.
1pt each-way @ 6/1 — 5 places
4:05 — Action | 11/2 | 3 places | 1pt each-way
The Aidan O’Brien angle alone commands respect — his runners at big meetings carry stable confidence and are rarely without a chance. But there’s genuine form to back this up. Action has performed well in Group 1 company previously, including against Bow Echo who went on to win the 2,000 Guineas, and is closely related to Lambourn, the 2025 Derby winner. The class is not in question.
The key update is the tongue tie being removed today after issues last time out. Tongue tie removal is one of the most consistently positive signals in racing — if that was restricting him previously, today could be a different horse entirely. Stall 7 is a decent draw with no concerns given the track bias.
The only note is that 3 places at 11/2 makes this more of a win-orientated play than the others — factor that in to your expectations.
1pt each-way @ 11/2 — 3 places
Total exposure today: 6pts staked across three each-way bets.

Tee times are confirmed for the PGA Championship and the Twister Tipster AI Golf Predictor has locked in its first-round leader selections.
The model — which has returned +30.37pts profit and a 114.6% ROI across its first two tournaments, including finding Hojgaard at 50/1 for a place last week — has identified two FRL plays for today’s opening round. We’re sharing one here. The second pick, plus a glory double opportunity that returns over £1,000 on a £2.50 stake, is live now on the Twister Tipster Substack. 🏌️ XANDER SCHAUFFELE — 1pt each-way FRL @ 33/1 (7 places)
Schauffele is already on our outright card this week and the FRL model is entirely consistent with that view. He draws an 8:29am tee time — out early before wind and showers build through the afternoon — and his first-round leader profile is one of the strongest in the field. At 33/1 with 7 places on offer this is exceptional each-way value for a player who arrives at a major as one of the genuine title contenders.
The model likes him to go low early. So do we.
Bet: 1pt each-way @ 33/1 — 7 places
The second FRL pick is on the Substack PLUS some MASSIVE odds glory doubles!
It is a player with the strongest non-Scheffler FRL profile in the entire model, an early tee time before conditions deteriorate, and 20/1 on offer each-way with 5 places.
The glory doubles — including one that returns over 1,000 of your currency on a 2.50 each-way unit stake if it lands — are also exclusively on the Substack.

Xander Schauffele
An AI golf model that has returned +30.37pts profit and a 114.6% ROI from its first two tournaments just produced its PGA Championship card.
Last week at the Truist Championship, the Twister Tipster AI Golf Predictor identified Nicolai Hojgaard at 50/1 for a place. Full return. Nine points from a single pick. The week before, at the Cadillac Championship, it found Cameron Young as both the outright winner at 11/1 and the first-round leader at 20/1. Both landed.
Now it’s turned its attention to the biggest event of the US golf calendar.
The model has produced four outright selections for the PGA Championship, all at 1pt each-way with 8 places on offer. We’re sharing two of them here. The full four-pick card — including the 55/1 value play the model has identified — is available exclusively on the Twister Tipster Substack. Free to subscribe, link here.
🏌️ CAMERON YOUNG — 11/1 (8 places)
The bot has liked Young since day one and keeps coming back to him for good reason. Three tournaments in, three cards featuring his name — and he’s delivered every time. Strong win probability, excellent place profile, and a ball-striking game built for a longer, demanding major setup. The cooler, breezier conditions forecast for the opening two rounds suit him down to the ground.
At 11/1 with 8 places in a major field, he represents genuine each-way value. The AI keeps saying his name. We keep listening.
Bet: 1pt each-way @ 11/1 — 8 places
🏌️ JON RAHM — 14/1 (8 places)
Former world number one. Multiple major champion. A player built for exactly the kind of setup this week’s course demands. The model rates his win probability, top-10 profile, and course-fit adjustment as among the strongest in the field — and at 14/1 there is genuine outright interest here, not just place hopes.
When Rahm is on form at a major, he is as hard to beat as anyone in the game. The model agrees.
Bet: 1pt each-way @ 14/1 — 8 places
Want the full card?
The remaining two picks — including Xander Schauffele and a 55/1 value selection the model has identified as its standout each-way play of the tournament — are live now on the Twister Tipster Substack.

There are weeks in betting that remind you why you do this. This weekend was one of them…
While the horse racing was frustrating — fine margins, as ever — the Twister Tipster AI Golf Predictor quietly put in one of its best performances yet. The headline: Nicolai Hojgaard at 50/1, placed at the Truist Championship. One pick. Nine points returned on a one-point each-way stake.
But that’s just the weekend. Step back and look at the bigger picture and the numbers become genuinely hard to ignore.
The AI Golf Bot — Two Weeks In
We launched the Twister Tipster AI Golf Predictor at the start of the PGA Tour season with a simple idea: use AI modelling to identify value picks across outright winners, first-round leaders, and place opportunities that the market underestimates.
Two weeks in, here’s where we stand:
Two tournaments. Two outright winners and three place returns. The AI model isn’t just finding winners at short prices — it’s identifying big-priced selections that others are missing.
This Weekend’s Highlights
The Truist Championship produced three placed selections from the AI bot’s card: Hojgaard (50/1), Aberg (11/1), and Cameron Young (7/1, shared place). In any individual week that would represent excellent each-way value. Combined with Week 1’s clean sweep on Cameron Young, the AI predictor is building a track record that speaks for itself.
What’s Next — The PGA Championship
The PGA Championship is one of the four majors and one of the biggest betting events in golf. The field is deeper, the prices are bigger, and the opportunities for the AI model to find value are greater than in any regular Tour event.
We’ll be publishing our full AI Golf Predictor card for the PGA Championship exclusively on the Twister Tipster Substack — outright picks, first-round leader selections, each-way value plays, and the glory double. If the Cadillac and Truist are anything to go by, you’ll want to be there.
The majors are where reputations are made. We’ll see you there.

Nicolai Hojgaard
It’s been a tough week on the racing, but the golf could yet turn things around. Three selections are still live heading into Sunday’s final rounds, and at least two of them have genuine winning chances.
Nicolai Hojgaard — Truist Championship (50/1, 6 places) This was always a pick with upside and he’s delivered. Hojgaard is right in contention at the Truist Championship and at 50/1 an outright win would be a significant return. He’s playing with confidence and the closing holes suit his game. Still very much alive.
Cam Young — Truist Championship (7/1, 10 places) Young has been one of the standout performers this week and is near the top of the leaderboard. A strong closer with plenty of experience in Sunday pressure situations. Keep an eye on him through the back nine.
Oliver Lindell — Catalunya Championship, Barcelona (28/1, 8 places) Over on the DP World Tour, Lindell is in contention for a place finish at the Catalunya Championship. Down a touch in the rankings but playing well on a course that suits him. At 28/1 a place return would be very welcome.
Three darts still in the air — updates to follow as the rounds conclude.

It’s been a tough week on the P&L — the golf has punished us thus far and Chester didn’t play ball — but Saturdays are made for bouncing back! Four selections today across Ascot and Haydock, including a serious each-way play in the Victoria Cup and a big-priced alternative that could pay for the week if it lands a place.
🏇 VICTORIA CUP — ASCOT, 2:25PM
This is the marquee race of the day and we’re splitting the Victoria Cup between two plays.
TRIBAL CHIEF — 11/2 EACH WAY (6 PLACES) — 1PT
The overnight money has been pointing firmly towards Tribal Chief and it’s not hard to see why. Billy Loughnane takes the ride, which is about as encouraging a booking as you can get in this division right now — he’s riding at a different level to most. The horse itself is a natural closer who loves to pick off rivals late in the day, and the draw is very much in his favour. Coming back to seven furlongs in trip could prove the key — he shaped well in the Lincoln on his return and this looks a logical next step. With six places on offer, an each-way interest at 11/2 looks very fair value. This is the banker of the day.
SO DARN HOT — 33/1 EACH WAY (6 PLACES IF AVAILABLE) — 1PT
At 33/1 this is unashamedly a punt, but it’s one grounded in solid reasoning. The horse has dropped 5lbs since his last winning mark and the ground conditions today should be right up his street. It is not a million miles away from his best form and in a competitive handicap like the Victoria Cup, horses at this price regularly hit the frame. With six places being paid out, a 33/1 shot at a fraction of the odds for a place represents exactly the type of each-way value that can transform a Saturday. Only take this if your bookmaker is paying six places — check before you play.
🏇 HAYDOCK, 1:15PM
TELLHERTHENAME — 9/4 WIN — 2PT
Dan Skelton knows how to place a horse and Tellherthename has been dropped to a mark of 133 which looks very workable on the evidence of recent runs. The going at Haydock today should suit and this looks like a confident, straightforward selection. Two points win — no each-way frills needed at this price.
🏇 HAYDOCK, 3:05PM
JEDDAAL — 2/1 WIN — 2PT
Ed Walker has this horse primed and ready. Jeddaal is operating off a mark that flatters the handicapper rather than the horse — it is genuinely quick and has the ability to dominate from the front or close from just off the pace. On a flat, fair track like Haydock there should be no excuses today. Two points win, straightforward confidence play.
The Day in Summary
| Race | Selection | Odds | Bet | Stake |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ascot 2:25 Victoria Cup | Tribal Chief | 11/2 | EW (6 places) | 1pt (2 total) |
| Ascot 2:25 Victoria Cup | So Darn Hot | 33/1 | EW (6 places) | 1pt (2 total) |
| Haydock 1:15 | Tellherthename | 9/4 | Win | 2pt |
| Haydock 3:05 | Jeddaal | 2/1 | Win | 2pt |
Good luck today. All selections are tracked live on the P&L dashboard — updated after every result. Full model analysis available to Substack subscribers. Follow along and let’s make Saturday count. 🏇

A full card at Chester today and two selections catching the eye ahead of what should be a busy weekend of action.
3:05 Chester Cup — Zanndabad (8/1 EW, 5 places)
Zanndabad shaped like the unluckiest horse in the race last time out. Drawn in stall 10, he still managed to finish third behind Zoffee — a performance that would have won most renewals if he’d had a clear passage. Chester’s tight, turning track actually suits hold-up horses who can be produced late, and with a cleaner passage expected today, he looks well-handicapped at the top of the market. Each way at 8/1 with five places on offer is exactly the kind of value we can go for though.
3:40 Chester — Miraculous (9/1 EW, 4 places)
Tim Easterby has a fantastic record with horses stepping back up in class after confidence-boosting runs at smaller tracks, and Miraculous fits that profile well. He showed improved form at Catterick and the handicapper hasn’t fully caught up yet. Four each-way places at 9/1 gives plenty of margin, and at that price he’s firmly in the mix.
Both bets are 1pt each way. Saturday promises to be the big day with Ascot’s Victoria Cup — full selections and picks landing here and on the Substack in the morning.

Been busy with other issues today so no selections – back tomorrow with picks for the Chester Cup and a busy weekend ahead!

The Twister AI Golf Predictor has now locked its first-round leader picks for this week.
After landing Cameron Young as both outright winner and first-round leader on the soft-launch card last week, we have taken the same approach this week: wait for the tee times, check the likely weather windows, then finalise the FRL selections.
The main focus is the Truist Championship, with two smaller bonus FRL plays added for the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship in Barcelona.
Rory McIlroy is the first Truist first-round leader selection.
He was left off the main outright card because the outright price looked short, but the FRL market is different. For one round, Rory has an obvious chance.
He has a strong Quail Hollow profile, excellent course history and the type of power game that fits the course. His tee time also looks useful, with the model preferring his window once weather and draw were factored in.
Selection: Rory McIlroy — 1pt each-way FRL
Min Woo Lee is the second Truist FRL pick.
The model likes his mix of course fit, scoring upside and tee-time position. He has the sort of explosive profile that can work well in a first-round leader market, where one hot round is enough.
Selection: Min Woo Lee — 1pt each-way FRL
The two smaller Barcelona FRL plays are:
Both are 33/1 each way for 6 places – they fit the model well and both get favourable early tee-time windows.
The small-stakes Twister AI Glory Double for this week is:
Rory McIlroy FRL + Xander Schauffele outright winner — 0.25pt each way (around 125/1)
This is just a fun side play, not part of the main staking plan.
The full Week 2 card, including the main Truist outright picks, Barcelona selections, FRL picks and staking notes, is available on Substack:

Rory McIlroy
The Twister Tipster AI Golf Predictor could not have started much better.
In its first proper soft-launch test, the model selected Cameron Young for the Cadillac Championship. Not only did Young go on to win the tournament, he also landed as a first-round leader pick.
Winner and FRL on the first card.
That is a ridiculous start — but we are keeping our feet on the ground.
This is still an experiment. The aim is not to claim the model has solved golf betting. The aim is to build a smart, disciplined weekly golf predictor that uses data, course fit, price, form, tee times and weather to identify the best value plays.
This week, the model moves on to the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow.
It is a fascinating test because Quail Hollow appears to favour powerful players who can gain off the tee, while still demanding strong approach play. That means the model has been looking closely at driving distance, overall win probability, top-10/top-20 strength and market value.
We have locked the four main outright selections for the Truist Championship, plus two smaller DP World Tour bonus plays in Barcelona. These will also now start to form part of the overall P&L record going forward.
Two of the names on this week’s Truist card are:
The full card includes:
The first-round leader picks are being held back until Round 1 tee times are available. That is deliberate. FRL betting is very sensitive to weather waves, and after last week’s success, we are sticking to the process rather than guessing early.

The AI predictor started with a bang. Now we see if it can keep finding value.
Please gamble responsibly. Experimental selections only. 18+.

Xander Schauffele
No selections today – bank holiday in the UK and busy with the family. Day off! Back tomorrow…
The golf AI took successfully picked Cam Young as the 11/1 winner of the Cadillac Championship – sign up to get alerts for that took at the Substack here. It’s free!

The first fillies’ Classic of the season is here, and today’s 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket looks a fascinating puzzle. Nineteen runners are due to go to post over the Rowley Mile, with the ground described as good to firm.
For Twister Tipster, this looks like a race where the obvious one may simply be the right one — but there is also a very tempting each-way angle at a bigger price.
Precise is the win selection.
She was a high-class two-year-old and brings proper Group 1 form into this. Her Fillies’ Mile win over this course and distance last autumn is the standout piece of evidence: she beat Venetian Lace by 3¼ lengths and looked every inch a filly with Classic quality.
The big question in a race like this is whether you want to take a short price in a 19-runner Classic. Usually, that can be dangerous. But Precise has already shown she handles Newmarket, stays the mile, and has the class edge on what we’ve seen so far.
There are dangers everywhere, but at 7/4, she still looks the most solid winner in the race.
Precise — 7/4 win
The each-way pick is The Prettiest Star at 12/1, taking the four places.
She is lightly raced, open to improvement, and already has strong Newmarket form. She won well on debut at Nottingham before finishing a clear second in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes over 7f at Newmarket, beaten just half a length by Zanthos.
That Rockfel run makes her interesting here. She travelled like a smart filly, kept finding, and shaped as though the step up to a mile could suit. The racecard comments also suggest she is likely to stay and that there should be more to come.
At the prices, she makes plenty of appeal as an each-way play. She doesn’t need to beat Precise for the bet to pay — she just needs to run into the frame, and with four places available, she looks the right value alternative.
The Prettiest Star — 12/1 each-way, 4 places
1,000 Guineas
Precise — 7/4 win
The Prettiest Star — 12/1 each-way, 4 places
As always, selections are for interest and opinion. 18+

What a week it’s been! Four winners from the last seven horse racing bets, running P&L at +12.17pts since re-starting tracking — and today we’ve got two of the biggest races in the racing calendar. Here are my four picks.
2000 Guineas — Newmarket 3:35
Distant Storm — 9/2 Each Way (4 places) My main pick of the day. Charlie Appleby has won three of the last five Guineas and has trained this horse specifically for today off the back of some impressive performances last year. Fresh, ready, and in the hands of one of the best trainers in the business for this race.
Needle Match — 18/1 Each Way (4 places) The draw out of stall one is a negative but I’m not put off at this price. Tom Marquand takes the ride which is a real positive, and he ran well here last year. At 18/1 each way this is a proper each way punt — if it fires it’s a big day.
Kentucky Derby — Churchill Downs 11:57 (BST)
Commandment — 4/1 The standout pick of the day. Four wins on the bounce, loves Churchill Downs, loves the distance, and a decent draw. Every box ticked — this is the one I want most.
Danon Bourbon — 12/1 Each Way (4 places) The outside play. Overnight money has come in which is always encouraging. Japanese-trained horse who has performed brilliantly at home — the question is whether he can replicate it on American soil. We think he can. And we are in the home of bourbon after all!

What a week it’s been! Two winners yesterday at Punchestown, and if you’ve been following the AI golf bot on the Substack, Cameron Young landed at 20/1 as first round leader at the Cadillac Championship. The AI tool is doing exactly what it’s built to do.
Right — let’s get into today’s picks…
Funiculi Funicula at Punchestown 5:25 — 4/1 Each Way (5 places)
Willie Mullins dominates Punchestown Festival week, and this gelding is a prime example of why. Fast, jumps well, and has been successful over both hurdles and fences. Four to one each way with five places on offer is a cracking each way bet. This is the pick of the day.
Dosman at Ascot 5:30 — 9/2 Each Way (4 places available)
We’ve backed Dosman before and he’s delivered. The overnight support has come in — always a positive sign — and the key question is whether he can transfer his all-weather form to the turf. We think he can. Shop around for the four place terms as not all firms are offering them.
Looking Ahead
Big weekend incoming. The 2,000 Guineas and the Kentucky Derby are both on Saturday — it doesn’t get much bigger than that in racing. Full selections will be on the Substack too as well as here — make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss them.
Good luck today, 18+. 🏇

Day three of the Punchestown Festival and we have three each-way plays that we really like. All logged in the P&L tracker from the off.
3.40 Busselton — 9/2 each way (3 places) Busselton won this exact race last year and everything points to connections having targeted this again. Darragh O’Keeffe takes the ride — hard to leave out at the price.
4.15 Karl Des Tourelles — 7/1 each way (5 places) Ran a stormer at Cheltenham before getting badly hampered and running out of room. Drops in class today and gets five places to play with — this is a massive each-way opportunity.
4.50 Come Walk With Me — 7/1 each way (5 places) A fast, classy horse who caught the eye at Fairyhouse last month. Punchestown should suit her well and again we get five places each way.
Total outlay: 6pts (1pt each way x 3) All bets logged in the P&L tracker — results updated tonight.

Good morning – we had a very poor day yesterday at Punchestown with none of the selections doing anything of note. This can happen and it is the nature of horse racing – you sadly have to take your medicine at times just as you enjoy the spoils of the winners.
We are not going to be put off but we will tighten up to just two selections for Punchestown today and given our golf form has been phenomenal, there’s a few picks for the two main events coming up this weekend…
Golf Selections – April 29
Cadillac Championship PGA – Winner
Jake Knapp 28/1 each way (6 places)
Kurt Kitayama 33/1 each way (8 places)
Turkish Open DPWT – Winner
Freddy Shott 55/1 each way (7 places)
Francesco Molinari 60/1 each way (6 places)
Horse Racing Selections – April 29
Punchestown Festival – Day 2, Punchestown
3.05 Simply Natural 6/1 each way (4 places)
4.10 Doctor Steinberg 4/1 each way
18+, be responsible

Good morning – let’s get back to it with some more winners! Today is the start of the annual Punchestown Festival – time to enjoy some jumps before the flat takes over entirely!
Here are some picks for today…
Horse Racing Selections – April 28
Punchestown Festival – Day 1
3.05 Sticwiththeprocess 10/1 each way (6 places)
3.40 Jet to Monte Carlo 11/2 each way (5 places)
4.15 Skylight Hustle 9/2 each way (3 places)
4.50 July Flower 16/1 each way (3 places)
That’s enough for now – I’m going to swerve the trickier races and focus on the each way value. Good luck – 18+

Good morning – I am not going to make selections again today as racing remains mediocre. We have big stuff coming up though starting with Punchestown tomorrow…

No selections today. Poor racing so let’s have a day off!
We had fantastic wins this morning and yesterday…
Cosmic Connection won 6/1 winner!
Berkshire Whisper 9/1 each way place
Adrian Otaegui China Open 40/1 each way place!
Lots of great results – back tomorrow!

Good morning – we had a comfortable winner with The Dog Thief yesterday (15/8 and 2/1 SP). Let’s try to find one or two more on a busy Saturday…
Horse Racing Selections – April 25
Sandown
1.45 Cosmic Connection 6/1 each way (5 places)
Jockey Sam Twiston-Davies seemed positive about his chances on this one today and there has been a flow of support in recent days. The five-year-old can defy top weight today and build on a good win last month at Warwick.
4.40 Calimystic 6/5 win
Looks the obvious one in this race with the Henderson/De Boinville combo – on a winning run and you’ll do well to get an odds against price.
Leicester
2.05 Berkshire Whisper 9/1 each way (4 places)
The each-way price has long gone for the favourite so let’s take a chance on this one in the big handicap – three wins at six furlongs on all-weather and with Jason Watson on board must have a chance to feature.
Ripon
4.10 Seven Questions 2/1 win
We have two each-way plays so back to a more obvious one here at a decent-ish odds against price before it shortens. Hollie Doyle rides this four-time Irish winner which should feature well here.
18+, be responsible!

Good morning – we’ve had a slight spring clean and a little rebrand/change of things around here. It was about time after a couple of years and going forward, we want to make things look as professional as possible… more to come on this in the weeks coming up!
Anyway for now, we had Tommy’s Oscar place yesterday but couldn’t quite pick up the win. The flat season is now starting to pick up ahead of the big meetings in May. Here’s a couple for today to consider…
Horse Racing Selections – April 24
Sandown
1.50 Look to the Stars 5/1 win
The top 2 in the market are worth taking on with this Goldolphin three-year-old – Buick’s on board and you can get a decent price. Worth a small play.
Perth
3.47 The Dog Thief 15/8 win
Lightly-raced progressive type who holds well against the form – won last month on his maiden hurdle race at Market Rasen and a victor at Alnwick.
More to come for the weekend – be sensible, 18+ etc.

Good morning – we return to horse racing today with a couple of picks…
Horse Racing Selections – April 23
Beverley
2.52 Arctic Summer 10/1 each way
Perth

That’s it! 18+

Good morning – today I will select a few golf selections ahead of the RBC Heritage event over the weekend.
We landed two places last week from the Masters – 22/1 from Justin Rose and 18/1 from Cam Young.
Let’s try to get the winner this time…
Golf Selections – April 15

Good afternoon – been busy and very late with my post today. Rather than rush out dodgy selections, I will be back tomorrow…

No selections today – back tomorrow

Good afternoon, we had a frustrating day yesterday though picked up nice places from Merlin Allen (14/1) and Soldier Reeves (15/2). The big race of the Grand National didn’t go our way as our main pick fell at the first! Argh
Racing today is mediocre but just a couple of picks…
Horse Racing Selections – April 12
Ffos Las
2.38 Knead a Win 9/4 win
Musselburgh
4.15 Blues and Royals 15/8 win
18+, be responsible

Good morning – we had a big winner with Will the Wise yesterday at 9/1! Boom! A couple of nice places too but frustrating one or two couldn’t run on to also win.
Today is the biggest horse race of the year in the UK and Ireland calendar with the Grand National (arguable for those who love the flat or Cheltenham, I know) at Aintree!
We already have an antepost pick with Grangeclare West for the big race at 10/1 but let’s have another look…
Horse Racing Selections – April 11
Aintree – Grand National Day
4.00 (Grand National)
Grangeclare West (also antepost pick) 10/1 each way (5 places)
Monty’s Star 14/1 each way (6 places)
Haiti Couleurs 25/1 each way (5 places)
Other Races…
12.45 Salvator Mundi 11/10 win

3.05 Honesty Policy 11/4 win
5.05 Merlin Allen 14/1 each way (4 places)
18+, be responsible and go small!

Good afternoon! We had a dreadful day yesterday – probably the worst this year with selections – as nothing at all hit. Unfortunately, it happens and is part of horse racing – you can’t win all the time!
Let’s try to turn it around today with Ladies’ Day at Aintree…

That’s all – 18+, be responsible

Good morning – BOOM! We landed the winner of the Irish Grand National horse race yesterday as Soldier in Milan cruised home for us at 7/1 (6/1 SP). Puts us all in the mood now to land the big one at the Aintree Grand National on Saturday.
Anyway, for now, let’s pause on horse racing and make sure we have a few picks for the big golf action at Augusta coming up.
Here’s this year’s selections…
Golf Selections – April 7
Augusta – The Masters 2026
Bryson DeChambeau 11/1 (each way – 8 places)
Cam Young 18/1 (each way – 10 places)
